All the talk of Parcells going to Miami and raiding the Cowboys for everything they have has got to be a joke. Jerry has not learned a thing if Garrett and Sparno(sp) leave the Cowboys next year. We all know that Bill built this team and Wade is experienced enough to dive the bus with a little heat off the players and a more personable attitude. The Ivy league "assistant head coach" is awesome! No way Jerry let's this kid walk to a head coaching job without a fight. Now poor Wade has some major brownie points with me because he has done his job this year but he's not long term solution. If it comes down to Wade and Garrett what's your call for the 08 season? It's off my chest now thanks!

Keep Wade. Garrett isn't ready to be a HC. He's only been coaching for like 3 years. Hopefully Garrett is wise enough to know this and stays around awhile. Plus, he'd likely be taking over for Wade in a couple of years anyway.

But if it comes down to it, I'd keep Wade.

Gimme a break!
If it came down to Jason or Wade you'd keep Wade?
:lmao2:

What has Wade done, save develop the San Diego defense.
And if he was so great, what happened to the Dallas D?
Haven't seen any great advance by the D.

Wade is a retread.
Jason is the future.

I like Wade but face it, he is no Vince lollabridgetta
Jason has like twice the gray matter that Wade has.

Lets be totally honest here. While nobody expected this type of season, when you are the #1 seed you better not get bounced before the SB.

If we get BEAT AT HOME BY GREEN BAY and watch the Packers play the Pats in the bowl, there are going to be some angry fans and media.

The discussion of moving Garett to head coach could very well depend on if we win the NFC this year. Even if Wade wins this Sunday and goes 14-2, if we flame out in the playoffs there are going to be some loud voices calling for Garrett.

I am not saying I am for this, I kinda think it would be dumb to fire a HC that goes 14-2 (yea, thats you San Diego). Just that I could see it happening.

It's JMO but if Jeff Ireland,Garrett and Sparno get away for this productive group then Wade goes 7-9 8-8 9-7 next year! mark it down.

This probably old new to you guys but it's brothering the heck out of me.Just when our Boys are doing well here come some negative crap to redirect to forward progress of the franchise. Oh no, the wolrd is going to end.

Take a deep breath and relax. Go off the deep end if Garrett leaves, not before.

Jason has like twice the gray matter that Wade has.

By that token, what has Jason done?

Take what was the 4th ranked offense last year and transform it into the 2nd best offense?

And you haven't seen a transformation on the defensive side of the football? Really?

2007
4.9 yards per play (6th)
58.2% Completion Rate Allowed (T-5th)
6.3 YPA (T-6th)
19 INT (T-5th)
43 Sacks (T-3rd)
73.5 Opposing Team QB Rating (4th)
4.0 YPC (T-13th)

2006
5.3 yards per play (21st)
58.9 Completion Rate Allowed (T-12th)
7.3 YPA (T-26th)
18 INT (T-10th)
34 Sacks (T-19th)
83.2 Opposing Team QB Rating(13th)
3.9 YPC (T-7th)

So....we are giving up less yards per play, a lower completion rate, lower yards per pass attempt, more INTs, more sacks, holding opponents to a significant worse QB efficiency rating, but allowing .1 ypc more than last year....

And you don't see a much of a difference in our defense from last year?

Only a truly desperate team would hire such a raw coach as Jason Garrett, no matter how good he's been this year, to run the show...

He has all of one year's experience in a role that matters, now you expect some team to make him their head coach??

I don't think even Matt Millen would be THAT stupid... Garrett's time will come, but I'd bet it won't be next season...

bill parcells is going to give us the number one pick in the draft for our two numbers ones...sparano or ireland....it will also make parcells' legacy stronger because when we get the best runningback in the league in the draft we are going to win the superbowl...sure it will partially because of him but you still know that it was from what parcells did while he was here...
