Yeagermeister;2778479 said:Yes by all means let's go back to discussing reality shows.

Unfortunately scaling down the show and removing two writers and possibly going to friday sounds bad.
The show wont be the same for me without the buy more cast.
Emmet millbarge and anna wu are probably history along with alot of the guest starring, hopefully jeff and lester make the cut. It just wont be the same for me without them.
I hope it is on wednesday and not friday, I cant imagine it wont get the extra 9 ordered.
Cajuncowboy;2778502 said:The guy that played Milbarge is going to another show. I think Anna Wu will be a recurring role just not as often.
The only one that will really tick me off is if John Casey is not back. That character was great.
Also, I don't like the move to Friday night either. IT really should stay put. I'd be somewhat ok with Wednesday though.

Great news, long wait but well worth it.

ChldsPlay;2780024 said:Ack, March? Sounds like they're just trying to have pity on the fans and give them one more short season to wrap the series up. Starting in March, losing writers, cutting characters, moving the day of the week all are bad signs. I love that it's coming back, but it sounds like they're already planning for next season to be the end of it.
theebs;2780270 said:That is what I thought INitially, then I read the interview with ben silverman and some tv critics articles and its the opposite. They like the show, they are going to try and generate momentum with episodes continuosly in the spring and hopefully in the summer.
They did the same thing with 30 rock, a show the nbc executives love.
Because of subway stepping up and becoming a main sponsor, the show is not going to be scaled back at all. So that is a big plus.
Just stinks we have to wait till march, but the people who make the show were very happy and feel wanted so I think that is a good sign.
The 13 episode run is in the mold of a cable/HBO/SHowtime series, 13 episodes. The cable networks have been very prosperous with that format, throw in hopefully that they will get the extra nine and run in the summer this could be a great thing for Chuck. I love the show, so I am willing to be patient with its return especially if the network likes it.
It still does stink that we have to wait, having it in september and most importantly through the halloween/turkey day/ christmas episodes which josh schwartz always does a tremendous job with would have been great, but I will take what I can get.
