NOW we will see McQ challenge Kosier for the LG slot.
I still want an upgrade to Proctor as the backup Center. BUT other then that we are good there.

Now we can concentrate on signing Canty, MB, and Hamlin (though with Hamlin we can wait a while)

Time to really start looking at the draft and getting a couple of CBs as the top priority.

Its possible Marten could challege for that LG spot too since he played OG in college and had problems at tackle last season. But who knows he could challenge Colombo for the RT spot if he comes on strong.

Also WR & RB and maybe a DT to get ready when Ferguson retires cause we don't know how good Tank would be at that position.

Free has some LG in his past too...I think we need to get the best of Free or McQ on the field in place of Kosier. I'd like to see them have a chance to compete for that starting position...I think they will.

it's not going to be an easy task, Kosier is as steady as they come, and quite good

I wouldn't count him out yet though -- these BC guys have a good pedigree. When he looked bad, he had the coaches shaking their heads which suggests to me that he wasn't "getting" something -- he was simply lost. That's the sort of thing guys can overcome -- he may have had some issue moving from LT to RT or something. We saw something very similar with -- and I hate to bring the name us -- Jacob Rogers - he was lost in his rookie year then came in year 2 fully understanding the position.

Kosier is steady but physically limited. Untill Flo had his knee problem at camp, McQ was penciled in to fight with Kosier for that slot. He has more quickness and strength then Kosier.

I'm on the McQ bandwagon as well -if he can beat out Kosier then it is a win win.

Plus, he's so handsome....
