I would call 28 teams if I was intent on trading him. The only ones I would not call would be the 3 Division rivals.

If your in a time frame where the door is open to win a Championship and your telling a guy like Brett Favre, arguably the greatest player in your franchises history, that he cant come back even when he was playing at a high level then your out of your mind.

#1 How could you possibly "know" that, particularly since you don't even know if that one team was Tampa?

I live in Wisconsin and the local news is reporting that only one NFC team was contacted. They also state that the one NFC team contacted may be Tampa Bay, but they are guessing that.

That's how I know.

The local news also says that within a week the Packers should have an answer on exactly what their plans are for Favre.

Considering Favre is 0-9 at TX Stadium, color me not-surprised if they indeed called us.

I don't think that can be done. Fairly certain there is method or means to accomplish it.

I'm almost certain that you can't have such a clause in a trade agreement. You could have a verbal agreement to such, but not a legally binding one.

I would say you can eliminate New England, Indy, Dallas, Pittsburgh and Cincy right off the bat....

Gotta add Minnesota, Chicago and Detroit to that list.
