Ok So Funny thing Happened last week

I went to dallas for my Cousin's 50th birthday party. They stay in the area by mockingbird and lemmon. Now the day before my dad, me and his date are going looking for a dress for his date, since she was an unexpected addition. We first start by going to the Mall by Northpark or ridge, something with north in it lol. I really didn't care for the dress i was there for the cowboy stuff right? well i walk all around the store and the only freaking store i see is the Dallas Mavericks Ultimate fan shop, now this place is like huge 3 floors, high end prices, etc. So i was talking to my dad, and i was like what kind of mall in Dallas, doesn't have a cowboy store, but a maverick store, and he said well maybe this is the Mall that Mark Cuban owns.

So needless to say she didn't find herself a dress, so i went on the search (iphone win) for another mall, and for some odd reason we decided to go to the Dallas galleria(As if prices would be cheaper?). Now when we walk in there, it was like bam! Bright lights 4 floors, and of course a Dallas Cowboy shop. So i then turned to my dad and i was like, well if that last mall was owned by Mark Cuban, then this Mall must be owned by Jerry Jones

lol!
 
If you were near Mockingbird and Lemmon, then you were probably at North Park Mall. (it is a higher end mall than the Galleria)

As for a Maverick's fan shop being there, that punk*** Cuban lives right down the street from North Park Mall on Deloache Ave.

Speaking of the Mavs, did you use to post on Mavtalk? :laugh2:

You said at the end of the day, it's either sex, or email. Then you said that you were going to be with your mom in the hospital. So *******'s inference was that you're going to be emailing all weekend, as opposed to having sex.

Okay, thank you. I actually appreciate you explaining the joke. It is funnier than I understood. Just not funny to me given where my Mom is and why.

The OP here was a fun story, but I guess he gets to decide what is and isn't funny. I don't know the rules.

I thought she was supposed to be coming home soon?

Just so you know, when you have to explain a joke, it probably isn't that funny anyways.

And Cowpoke isn't funny to begin with. So there's that too.

She fell twice yesterday and I took her back. She is being examined for a possible stroke.

That may contribute to my lack of a sense of humor. I just didn't think a comment about her being in the hospital was funny and I thought he was making a wisecrack about playing hospital.

Regardless, thank you for explaining what the joke was.

The parts in bold were not there when I responded and I didn't see them until now.

I actually do find him quite funny often, but I just didn't get his joke this time. I had no idea it would piss him off so much.
