OK this defense proved to be soft again time for changes

They folded to another good offensive team same players same channel same bad time.

Ok time to get drastic and yes I may be called a moron for it but I can no longer stomach this defense.

1st bench Roy Williams move Hamlin to SS and start Watkins at FS (That PI call was bogus on him). In fact Move Roy to a lb because he is just a clone of Adam Archuleta at this point and I have no other idea where to put him on the defense but lb.

Nate Jones was a waste tonight #33 has burnt streaks down his underwear he was abused so bad. Start Oglesby in his spot sorry he needs to go. I thought the dline did a good job overall to many times the secondary let the pats off the hook by their play.

Next stop playing 10 yards off the ball being afraid of the wr going over the top they did it anyways and where roaming free for easy completion even under heavy pressure breaking a bunch of them for td's.

The ilb where nowhere to be seen; bradie James tonight disappeared no one stepped up.

The defense makes me want to

We played two good offenses the Giants (who are ok) and the Pats and they both abused this defense in the passing game. I mean come one we had a stretch against a washed up Trent green and a terrible Rams team with a busted up QB and a rookie qb

We ran a very ineffective scheme against the Pats today.

It was very frustrating to watch.


Hats off to the Pats. They certainly know how to coach over there.

If you do the math, their 3 best WRs went against our 1 best CBs. These other 2 corners are either sorry, or inexperienced.

Well, it's kinda too late to do anything about the defense now isn't it?

Or we wait and hope that Tank and Henry coming back helps. That with more game exp Reeves will get better.

We can wait and hope that Terry Glenn gets better and we can put even more pressure on Opposing defenses and limit the time our defense is on the field.

Let's face it. We have one starting CB not playing, the other still not 100%, a first full time starter in Reeves (who has done a decent job) and with those scenarios it has placed us in a position to play N. Jones at times.

This defense can play better, should play better at times but we can't make gold out of straw unless we hire Rumpelstiltskin to work some sideline magic.

what did RW do that was so bad today? almost all the completions were to WR's...the few balls they threw to TE's he was there

we got whipped...but RW wasnt the reason

But the question still remains, when will Wade Phillips' mark appear on this team? I mean, he was hired to fix the defense. We may attack more, but I hardly see different results. Still give up big pass plays, still can't force 3 and outs, and still don't sack the QB enough.

Would we have the same game results/record if Norv or Garrett was the Head Coach?

Yeah, give the Pats credit. But also credit the Dolphins for helping their cause by "giving" them Wes Welker and the dumbarse Raiders for "giving" them Randy Moss. Stupid, stupid moves imo.
