Ware is has stepped up and has displayed some real speed his sack/fumble and int where both due to speed

We still do not get a lot of pressure with out blitzing

We have problems covering the middle of the field the area between lb depth and safety has me concern and crossing routes

more later

and the fact that jj is averaging about a yard per carry and bledsoe isnt going to make it threw more than 3 games without getting tore apart.

My concerns are the same from week 1. OL sucks and WR's get no seperation.

That Ware INT made me a believer. His past life as a WR came out on that play and will probably serve us well in creating turnovers. The right-side linebackers absolutely have no idea they're supposed to cover Stevens apparently. They have stunk in coverage.

We also seem to be playing off the line a lot with the CBs. Henry has been lining up 8-10 yards back and Seattle just shoots a quick 3 yard slant and picks up 6 yards easy. I can only hope we're trying to learn something about a particular defensive alignment and not really worried about working man-to-man.

Offense has been a giant sucking sound.

The o-line has had big problems with the seahawks blitzing, notice that the 'hawks have game planned us and are bringing their blitzes and stunts to the right side of our o-line against Pettiti and Walter.

Agreed, that soft zone is killing me. Still, its no excuse for the poor pass rush.

Rob Petitti:

Is doing a good job with his man as long as it is not a stunt. When the DT stunts to Petitti's side he has a clear line to the QB. Is rob supposed to follow his man inside and let the OG flow outside or is he supposed to stay outside?

I am impressed with Crayton. He has excellent hands. He seems like a strong reciever that doesn't backdown when initially hit on his route. I hope he does get that 3rd wr slot.

Not sure probably depends on the play. Though that is not surprising he struggled with it being a young rt hopefully he will learn from it.

Bledsoe still concerns me that pass to witten how the seahawks dropped it I have no idea; his passing accuracy still looks erratic he did a better job of dumping it so i can say thank goodness.

No way Morgan is keeping that 3rd wr slot Crayton has better hands fights through a hold gets a penalty and still makes the catch. Then he shows even more grit getting that 1st down with effort he looks strong (leg strong able to drive people). He looks more and more like Hines Ward love the kid what can I say.

Ware got even more plays after I posted forcing another fumble from the QB. He is reacting more thinking less his speed is going to be needed.

I have to agree with zagnut on the right side lb's

Davis laid a lick on Stevens

Henson pick was not pretty then Parcell shows his displeausre by having him kneel it out ; this is preaseason this is where you let the young guy come back and try to make up for it.

Oline had some nice looks and sucked other plays was really up and down.

The good the left side including Larry sealing off the whole left side by himself for one off JJ big runs. Flo not getting beat by the speed rushers is a good sign. The oline picked up the Blitz better but the right side and center poistion was struggling with the stunts.

Pilote made a very nice catch and run on the TD if he keeps playing ST well he will be the only FB on the roster

Cortez's kickoffs are way better than I see dead people but we know the history behind his FG's though

Please add your thoughts it was hard to track everything and I may have saw something wrong you know how that goes :p:

Crowder's a nice special teamer, but Burnett seems to be everywhere on special teams.

The O-line looks much better with Johnson starting.

Henson made the right read on his interception. The corner should have played the underneath reciever and lucked into a pick.

Condo had an iffy snap on the field goal that was nullified due to penalty, but has looked good other than that.

Beriault seems to be the real deal.

Walter played better than many here would like to admit.

The defense looks solid and deep overall - playing a lot of 3-4. We gave up some plays, but they all seemed to be contained dink and dunk... Not much on the corners, although Henry dropped a pick... Seems like more big plays but more given up on inside runs and inside screens. We had pretty good pressure all night if not a lot of sacks...Ware has it :) :) :) He reminded me of LT, not Haley ... I think Bill was right on, even though I hate the Giants
Bledsoe still scares me... The right side of the offensive line couldn't pass or run block, but the left side was absolutely dominant. Hopefully rivera makes a huge difference. :(
Julius still has it... I do think all 3 QBs looked better than Vinny, and Romo and Henson both look light years ahead of last year. The Henson snap hitch is noticeably less, even though he still seems to be working on accuracy withe the new throw. Romo is more accurate and def. feels confident, but may get himself in the doghouse if teams don't stop dropping interceptions.

Think about this...newman and Witten one year, JJ and maybe Peterman one year... Ware, possibly Spears, Canty, Beirault, Burnett this year...maybe throw in Brady James... def throw in Patrick Crayton. Only major miss is Rogers...Parcells def. knows talent. In Bill I trust...I definetly see improvement and that's all I can ask from a coaching staff (for now)

Go Boys!
