Now one of the back up nose tackle guys might go....some of the guys who have been injured much of the time might get a injury settlement, a linebacker way back in the log jam there, same with linemen. Our poor number two punter maybe.

Yeah I didn't even know we had a #2 punter in camp. I sure didn't see him doing anything the two days I was there. He's the first cut on the list.

I doubt Ayodele will be cut, right now he's the clear backup at NT

More likely to get him a look from another team when we cut him again next week.

Coaches are funny like that, they'll feature a guy they know they are about to cut, giving him a better chance of catching on elsewhere.

Remi is going nowhere this week. He's our 2nd string NG right now.


Austin isn't going anywhere either (not yet anyway).

Honestly it was only one bad play. He was targeted six times.

1. Slipped and fell. It just happens.
2. Tony overthrew him.
3. Pass interference.
4. Bad play. Perfect pass landed in his hands.
5. B. Johnson let it soar out of bounds.
6. B. Johnson threw it about 6 yards too short.

And the dropped pass was mainly due to the fact that he had poor hand placement and was more of a technique gaff. He's still a raw, young project learning how to play WR on a big time level. He's just one year removed from a Div. III school.

And that Jefferson guy. All you people clamoring for Austin to be cut, how many WRs do you think we keep?

I say 6... with Stanback being the project. Austin at this point is better than Stanback IMO.

Well it's a good idea to keep those guys around just so your only punter (McBriar) isn't taking every snap in practice/preseason games. He's there basically just to let McBriar's leg cool off.

Believe it or not those guys actually do wear out if they're overused.

Well according to the Cowboys site we only have 83 guys on the roster, so my guess on the 8 to get us to 75:

Bilbo, Jefferson, Paulescu, Richardson, Rector, Saldi, Smith, and Tarullo.
