J-Will Killin It Up Here And Butler Did What In The 40?!

What's good?
Julius Williams, who missed going to the NFL combine by a single vote, is going off up here.
He vaulted 41 inches in the vertical jump, the highest of any Husky competiting in the event (Darius Butler and Donald Brown did not).
Dahna Deleston, Tyler Lorenzen and Cody Brown all came in second, tied at 36 inches.
Will Beatty was awfully impressive benching 225 pounds 30 times.
The whole room got quiet when he started to struggle getting through his 27th rep and I'm sure NFL people did this to see how hard the kid was willing to work since there is/was a question about his work ethic.
I don't know if Beatty noticed the husk but he pushed the weight up three more times.
Then, Williams came along and did it 36 times. It looked like he was trying to do it 36 seconds, too. Anyway, he racked 'em fast.
Keith Gray got it 28 times, Dahna Deleston (20), Martin Bedard (19) Donald Brown (17) and Steve Brouse (15) rounded out the group we saw.
Much of the team is out here supporting these guys. The NFL people have been looking at Lindsey Witten like they're waiting for him to get involved.
The 6-4 243-pounder and will be a senior. He is a special talent with a pro body already.
Butler ran a 4.38-second 40-yard dash in his key-lime pie colored shoes. That's 4.38 folks. Those are first round numbers for a cornerback.
Twenty team are here. Only the Bears, Lions, Bills, Dolphins, Ravens, Steelers, Rams, Raiders and Buccaneers arent.
This still leaves 3 teams that werent there to me. So where the Cowboys there?
Bill Belichick ain't giving the Connecticut media time today. But he and coach Randy Edsall have been chatting quite a bit up.
Oh, Ellis Gaulden is participating. That was a bit of a surprise. Gaulden ran a 4.53 40. Deleston ran a 4.45...Gray is working his tail off.
Allright gotta run
Peace,
