This made me grin when I ran across it on another forum. Apple fans seem to love the next big thing coming out, their uh devotion is well documented.

Well, those of you who have an Apple device can be the envy of everyone you know. You're probably aware you can change or delete the "Sent from iPhone/iPad" message on posts and emails you send out.

The trick? Change it to "Sent from my iPhone 5-beta" or "Sent from my iPad 3-beta". :D

Instant techno-envy from your friends and demands to know how you got an advanced copy of an unreleased new item.

Have fun with it.

Can you change it to things like:

"Sent from God"

"Sent from Heaven"

"Sent from your bedroom"

"Sent from the bathroom"

"Sent from the future"

"Sent from 1982"

??

James Bond references are not allowed! :laugh2:

You just gave me an idea for my next IOS app.

A random signature generator. The user can populate the list with some number of signatures. The signatures then rotate based on user preference.

Sell for $.99 and profit.

Easy peesy...

:D

And since you put it in writing, we each expect 10% of the earnings. Easy Peesy... :D

This thread actually gave me an idea for a new app.

Talked to a coworker. Going to share the load coding - shouldn't be much - and see if we can get something to market.

It really is pretty cool that a market exists where average joe's can crank out some code and potentially make money off of it. Minimal overhead. Just a couple of beers and some free time. Gotta love it.

Just one more reason why I love this country.

I am thinking of making an app that will send Love notes from Steve Jobs to NYC on a random basis.
:laugh2:

If that is a success I am thinking about making another app that will send hate notes from Steve Jobs to Theogt. :laugh2:

I am feeling a tad evil.:D
