Professional athletes are going to party. And it's not even the regular season. We aren't even in training camp.

No they cannot act like normal people they should study play books if they aren't practicing.

If you're going to bash Johnny Football, then here is a great shot of your choker on US weekly.

Trying to see how that is remotely comparable.
In your example, Romo is trying to provide sanity vs Manziel photo showing a guy looking like an idiot.

And I'm not even one that say Johnny M can't have fun.

But you could find 30 NFL starters COMBINED in the last few years, add up ALL of their hard partying silly photos, and would not add up to what we've seen with Johnny in the last 2 years.

But go ahead and hate.

At least he isn't doing it the week before losing a home playoff game to a wildcard team.

And nobody else did either. Relaxing on a boat for few hours chilling out is about the same as sitting I your back yard grilling out and drinking beer with friends.

As for Manziel, I'll let him do his thing as long as he can back it up.

are you kidding me? It's not America's Team anymore, you need to let that go, 8-8, Jerry sux, etc. etc. etc.

The Dallas Cowboys are the polled fans' favorite sports team, and three other NFL teams are in the top five -- the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 2, the Green Bay Packers at No. 3 and the Denver Broncos at No. 5. The New York Yankees are fourth in the poll.

I have no problem with Manziel partying hard. I don't think his partying is what will limit his success in the NFL. I do think the media scrutiny of his partying ways would have been much greater had he been a Dallas Cowboy. The pressure is just different playing QB in Dallas.

I think not being focus during the playoffs and traveling to a different country to party is way worse than partying in the offseason.

doing it is nothing big. However it does show that he cannot seem to understand that his situation is different. Maybe he does not care; hard to tell.

bye week. After a long season getting away and relaxing is considered a good thing. Only romo haters see anything wrong with it; and those that hate the cowboys in general. So you are in real good company right?

It is an asusumption on your part that Romo wasn't focused. A player can be both in another country and focused on football. You don't have to be at Valley Ranch to watch film with the technology available. You can tack game video with you anywhere. The point is Romo was scrutinized more because he was the Cowboys QB than he would have been if he was the Bengals QB. The same would be the same if Manziel were a Cowboy. And as I said, I have no problems with the partying by Manziel or Romo. The partying isn't what limits either QB and for the record I think Manziel will be far less successful than Romo as an NFL QB.

You might want to not only check your calendar, but your facts. He left her in an IHOP parking lot a long time ago. Both are married now, to other people by the way, and spitting out kids.

That parking lot thing is a fact?

If you believe the tabloids. One of my buddies, a Bears fan, loves Romo in our Fantasy Football League for that very reason. The story cracks him up.

good start....now multiply that by 30 and you get Johnny in the last 2 years.

But again, I'm really if he upholds his team responsibilities, he can have fun, imo.

Mainly I was answering those trying to remotely compare Romo dating Simpson to this stuff.

Yeah, for all this getting slammed for bro partying it hasn't slowed the Gronk down.
