I see Lesnar taking this one via knockout. Carwin has some serious power though and he could connect.

Haha

I'm the only one with Carwin by a KO.

I don't know **** about MMA, really.

I just like the underdog. Especially when the underdog is more seasoned and proven than the favorite.

Carwin could get the KO like he has in every fight so far. Should be an entertaining fight with Carwin and that pissed off 300Lb gorilla.

Lesnar is a monster. I remember seeing Paul Heyman bring the guy into the WWE. Lesnar had the appearance of a guy who couldn't be beat. On top of that, he had the athleticism of a guy much, much smaller. I remember when he tried that shooting star press and ****ed his neck up.

The guy has a rare combination of talent, speed and athleticism. With that said, theres a lot more to fighting than being the bigger, faster guy. It only takes one good punch to put the strongest and fastest guy down.

I honestly can't believe that so many people are confident that Brock is the best in the business, let alone win this particular fight.

Being the top dog is earned. A handful of fights is far from "earned".

Has he looked impressive? Yes!

But that doesn't equate to being the best.

I mean, how impressive did the Saints look until they were beaten last year?

They looked pretty damn good and even though they had some luck on their side, it's better to be lucky than good in some instances.

Brock has looked good but fighting 4 different guys isn't nearly a big enough sample to say someone is the best.

Two big monsters going at it.

I will go on a limb and say Carwin by KO in the 1st round.

I am more afraid of a wrestler than I am a boxer or a martial artist. They take you down and start bending you until you break. I think Lesnar's biggest flaw is that he wants to end fights by ground and pound once he takes someone down. If he ever just did take downs and then used his collegiate wrestling skills I think he would be virtually unbeatable with that size, speed, and power.

I'm worried about ring rust and conditioning with Lesnar after the layoff. Minus the medical issues and the layoff I think Lesnar would take this one easily. I'm really leaning towards Carwin in this fight. I'm a big believe in ring rust until proven otherwise.

With that said, anyone want to come over and watch the fight with me? lol

Brocks weakness is in the standup, if Carwin can muster any kind of take down defense, I think he's got a legitimate shot.

If they go down, Carwin better be strong enough to keep from being outwrestled and manhandled like Lesnar does in every fight to his opponents. Once he latches on, most guys are done for.

As far as who wins, I'm going to go with Carwin via TKO cause I gotta root for the underdog.

Pains me to type this but Carwin.

I think Lesnar would beat him without the year layoff but I imagine Carwin will try and hold Brock against the cage for 5 rounds and win via dirty boxing.

Lesnar is pissed because Carwin has been talking trash.

Mir found out what happens when you piss Lesnar off.

I think he wants Brock to turn into a lay n pray machine like GSP... :(

OR, maybe he wants Brock to start using the F5 again?

Brock follows the script ..... the coming into the ring after the Carver fight and the weigh in stuff is planned ahead of time to try and raise interest in the fight.

Mir was saying stuff behind the scenes disrespecting Brock.

Carver is doing that now.

If Brock is healthy ...... I see bad things for Carver.

Carwin, you mean?

Carwin hasn't said much of anything behind the scenes that I've heard. He wished him good health when he was sick even.

Brock got in the ring after his fight and compared his interim belt to a cracker jack toy, which may just be to promo the fight, but still.

Brock knows how to hype a fight, that's for sure, but the idea that he hasn't been talking trash and it's Carwins doing does hold water in my opinion.
