Their only win in their last 8 home games is against us? Wonderful.

Andy Reid after the bye is simply unbeatable it seems. I don't know why, but he is incredible with two weeks to prepare.

This will make you feel better..

My PSG is an Eagles fan. Today I typed up a word document (one whole page) that read:

The Dream Team (in bold letters)

Underneath that I inserted a pic of Vick face down in the dirt, then under that pic...

4-7

KEEP DREAMING

Look at the bright side. If someone came to me a year ago and said "I'll make you a deal, the Eagles will go 1-7 in their next 8 home games, but their sole win will be against Dallas" I would take that in a heartbeat.

Because screw them.

Pisses me off, too, on several levels. But I can't stay pissed knowing they are 4-7.

Or maybe it was that Rob Ryan was totally outclassed. In fact, that's exactly what it was.

Let them do whatever against everyone else - it doesn't matter all that much to me.

However, I want the Cowboys to win every game so I wouldn't want that result at all. Also if they are 1-7 and beat us chances are that we aren't very good.

Hos, just try and remember 1992...week five at the Vet...:(

With a guy like Vick, if he gets hot and everything else is going right then you have a problem. Vick is inconsistent and he gets injured too often. But when he's on he's more than a handful.

We simply got dominated up front on both sides of the ball.

We werent physically/mentally ready. They were. It still makes me angry we lost the way we did, but we havent lost since. Meanwhile, they've only won once since. And that was the game we wanted them to win. So Im good.

Reid is 14-0 after the bye. That isnt by chance.

You are really superstitious aren't you?

Ryan put up a lame duck of a game plan. I hope he does better in the next re-match and I hope he comes up with a better plan against the Giants. I think the board is going to get a rude awakening to how overhyped this guy is. I only hope Romo is on his game and can bail us out.

Not at all, there's nothing superstitious about it. I specifically said it isnt by chance.

Reid has NEVER LOST after the bye. Ever. Not once. Only five of the 14 games were even close. He prepares his team as good or better than anyone with two weeks to get ready.

They looked at our tape, they saw our blitz packages. They called the right plays.

It's a blueprint we can only hope we've fixed since then. We are highly vulnerable to the delayed screen.

Then what's his record on opening day? He has lots of time to prepare for that game, too.

I very rarely agree with 30yard but on this he's right. All things being equal the chances of him winning 14 straight after bye games being random is appx. .006%

not likely

I believe that he get some advantage from the bye but I believe the streak is a statistical oddity myself. It didn't do him any good in the Super Bowl - his team got schooled for the first 3 quarters.
