The Repo Man

That was one of the dumbest gimmicks I've ever seen. Although I've seen lots and lots that can be put on this list and quite a few have already made it here.

The Ding Dongs would be another great choice. A stupid tag team invented, I believe, by some guy who ran WCW right before Bill Watts.

The Mauler was another great one for WCW. I still remember Larry Z calling a match with him in it, the night Scott Hall invaded WCW programing for the first time, and he made this classic call.

"The Mauler absolutely mauls..."

The worst going right now is TNA's sharkboy.

Shark Boy was released, and that gimmick was hilarious. How can you like the Gillberg parody and not the Shark Boy parody lol.
edit: removed promo. It has curses in it

I'm sure there's worse but...

what were they thinking with Undertaker's American ****** gimmick?

They weren't thinking anything..and it wasn't much of a gimmick.

He came back and had tired of the Taker gimmick...the way he dressed, the bikes and all that is very much Mark and the way he is in real life. He just wanted to try something different.

When it became apparent the fans preferred him as Taker he went back. And it's stayed that way...

Wow thinking back to all of these old gimmicks is crazy, when I was a kid watching, I never really thought anything of it.

Saturn and the mop was pretty ridiculous, the cross dressing gold dust is very weird, the old horny mae young and her nurse, Al Snow and his mannikin head. Big Dick Johnson and Mideon. Rakishi...a fat guy rubbing his *** in people's faces? Really? The spirit quad...right to censor...

Eugene or what ever the "special" person the WWE had for a while was called needs a mention

Forgot that, that's the winner. It wasn't funny at all as most of the other gimmicks mentioned in the thread were, eugene was just obnoxious.

When the One Man Gang turned into a Brotha and had Slick as his Manager, that was pretty darned awful.

One that had promise, but failed miserably, was the guy in WCW who was created after the Mortal Kombat character...he was supposed to be some ice ninja or something...wait, that's right, his name was Glacier. Anyway, his entrance and costume was pretty cool...but the gimmick just didn't seem to catch on. I think the guy doing the gimmick lacked the necessary charisma.

Steve Austin's gimmick prior to Stone Cold was horribly bad. It is so bad that I have purposely forgotten what he was called. I call his gimmick the Lame Master.....

All of Kane's gimmicks prior to Kane were horrible. At least he stuck with it and found a gimmick that works and kicks butt.

The 7 ft giant from Mexico with the muscle body tights in WCW was horrible. El Gigante was his name, I believe.

Taking off Rey and Juvy's masks when they became the Filthy Animals was horribly bad. But, I did love when the fans would call Juvy, Hoto Juice.

Mike Awesome's 70s guy was pitiful.

I liked Disco Inferno, cause he was silly with it. I also liked Gillberg (I hated Goldberg), and I liked when Sharkboy started the Stone Cold parody.

One guy I miss is Armando Alejandro Estraaaaaaaada......I thought he was hilarious with his promos.

I wish WWE would take Michael Cole and give him a swirly, then lock him in closet filled with all the dirty, sweaty tights that the wrestlers wear. Just leave him there for days...I hate his gimmick. He is completely lame. Nobody, and I mean nobody did the heel announcer the way Bobby Heenan did.

I actually thought Simon Dean was somewhat funny. It got old pretty quick but it wasn't terrible.

Right To Censor got old pretty fast but it was ok for a short bit.
