Actually, any college team in the nation has the freedom to go wherever they choose to recruit. Its not my fault that players in Texas choose to play for a successful organization as the Oklahoma Sooners.

all kidding aside the UT-OU rivalry is in my opinion the best rivalry in college football. i know people in michigan and ohio and all through the south east might differ, but the thing is that its just the best football around. lots of texas players go north to OU to play college ball and then to play against the biggest school in their old state is huge for them. Texas has always had a great deal of respect for oklahoma and i think, all insults aside, oklahoma feels the same way. and besides recently, this rivalry has always been one where you throw the rankings, standings, records, and talent away and its just a smash mouth football game where any team can win regardless of the afore mentioned things. hopefully we can both take care of business this upcoming week and get ready for one of the biggest and most important games in the rivalry's history, can wait!!

the only thing that gets me is why would a student choose norman over austin.austin is a great city while norman is barely on the map.

the horns are also a very sucsessful organization
but oklahomas sucsses is due to texas.

i in no way would stop oklahoma from recruiting texas since this is a free country.

Perhaps there are too many short-sighted Texans such as yourself is why they are crossing Texas state lines. The point is once they become a Sooner, they're a Sooner.
