Even thought Adrian Peterson ran for 101 yds in 29 carries, this time it wasn't injury free. In the 4th quarter Adrian went down with a shoulder and was helped to the locker room. Like Superman coming from nowhere, he returns to make his last couple of yds to make the 9th game over 100 yds.
Jason White seems to be doing his best to make sure that Adrian gets his 100 plus trying to break his own records on the way to another Heisman.
Adrian ranked #1 on the Heisman watch. Jason ranked a close 2nd.

Oklahoma quarterback Jason White might just be playing himself to a second straight Heisman Trophy. More importantly, he's kept the second-ranked Sooners in the hunt for the national championship. White will try to continue his impressive play as Oklahoma hosts Big 12 rival Nebraska on Saturday.
In the past four weeks, White's patience, accuracy and talent have powered the Sooners (9-0, 6-0 Big 12 South) as he's thrown 16 touchdown passes and just one interception over that span.
Over the last two games, both against ranked opponents on the road, White has fired eight touchdowns with no interceptions.
Last week, with Oklahoma facing a three different 14-point deficits at Texas A&M, White calmly tossed five scoring passes to help the Sooners rally for a 42-35 win.

``Jason is just a very special player'', Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said. ``You look at the last two weeks away from home in front of very rowdy crowds he throws eight touchdowns and no interceptions. The other day he throws five in that crazy atmosphere and leads us from behind. (That's) leadership. The guy is really something.''
Ohio State running back Archie Griffin is the only repeat winner in Heisman history, taking the award in 1974 and 1975.
Last year, White won the award, but Oklahoma lost the Big 12 title game to Kansas State and the BCS championship to Louisiana State.
This season, the senior quarterback has benefitted from the play of freshman running back Adrian Peterson, who has nine straight games with at least 100 yards rushing. Texas A&M focused on shutting down Peterson on Saturday, holding him to 101 yards on 29 carries. He left the game on the Sooners' go-ahead drive with a dislocated shoulder, but later returned to surpass the 100-yard mark.
Stoops, pleased with last week's effort, says his team is fully focused on Saturday's contest against the Cornhuskers (5-4, 3-3 Big 12 North).
''(Last week) was another huge game and a major step in the Big 12 South race and getting ourselves in position to have a chance for the Big 12 championship this week,'' Stoops said. ``This is a primary goal we have as a team. Our players understand the importance of it.''
A win against Nebraska will put Oklahoma in the Big 12 title game, possibly against Nebraska, which took the last meeting between the teams 20-10 in Lincoln in 2001.
Nebraska's 34-27 loss at Iowa State last week dropped the Huskers out of sole possession of first place in the Big 12 North. Now tied with the Cyclones, the Huskers no longer control their own destiny for a potential trip to Kansas City.
Although this week's game pits his team against a heavily favored opponent, Huskers coach Bill Callahan says his team will be up to the task.
``I can't control that aspect of what people think or point spreads or anything like that,'' Callahan said. ``All we can do is inspire our players, motivate them to the best of our ability. This will be a great opportunity for us as a team to go down there and generate that collective effort and passion that we need to win.''
Oklahoma holds a 40-37-3 advantage in the all-time series, but Nebraska has closed the gap with eight wins in the last nine meetings.
