If Clady gets cut, his best bet will be to sign a 1 year deal. He had better hope someone is willing to trade for him and his $10M/year (two years left I believe) even though he is coming off an ACL tear in his knee.

As for Okung. WTH is Denver thinking? He has NEVER played an entire 16 game season.

Strange one. Almost a 'spending money just to spend money' deal. One highly paid injured tackle for another. I guess they feel they cant get something for Clady. Maye the Pats want to do another deal. Or perhaps the Giants?

Where does Denver keep getting the money while we stroll the aisles at Walmart for damaged goods running backs?

Yes it is a good deal for the Broncos now that the details of the contractares out. Especially if they can get something for Clady.

I can see the Giants making a trade for Clady. The interesting thing here is that the Broncos signed a lesser player who is one year younger that also has injury concerns. I don't think this was a smart use of their money here.

I wouldn't touch him with that contract right now, but after a renegotiation I might. Then again, I'm sure DEN tried to go that route.

Did MIN do anything yet to shore up their awful RT situation?

Minnesota added Alex Boone and Andre Smith in FA. They have the highest paid starting OL in the league now (Ryan Kalil, Alex Boone, John Sullivan, Brandon Fusco, Andre Smith).

Ah, they got Smith. Good for them.

Not having a QB probably has something to do with it.

That is a big part, but they must have funds accounted for if they're talking about Fitzpatrick or trading for Kaepernick.

Didn't they bring back the prior RT Loadholt as well on a reduced contract?

$53 mill for 5 years...

Lot of cash for someone who is always hurt. Not that Clady isn't.

What a terrible contract for Okung. That shoulder must not be right. No guaranteed money, and its basically a 1 year deal with 4 years of team options. This ladies and gentleman is why you hire a agent and do not negotiate your own deal.

They are going to have trouble trading Clady with his contract. Wouldn't be surprised if he is cut.

Nice contract and doesn't have to pay a dime considering he's his own agent!
