$53 mill for 5 years...
Lot of cash for someone who is always hurt. Not that Clady isn't.

Where does Denver keep getting the money while we stroll the aisles at Walmart for damaged goods running backs?

I can see the Giants making a trade for Clady. The interesting thing here is that the Broncos signed a lesser player who is one year younger that also has injury concerns. I don't think this was a smart use of their money here.
I wouldn't touch him with that contract right now, but after a renegotiation I might. Then again, I'm sure DEN tried to go that route.
Did MIN do anything yet to shore up their awful RT situation?
Minnesota added Alex Boone and Andre Smith in FA. They have the highest paid starting OL in the league now (Ryan Kalil, Alex Boone, John Sullivan, Brandon Fusco, Andre Smith).
Not having a QB probably has something to do with it.

Didn't they bring back the prior RT Loadholt as well on a reduced contract?
Yes - I think you're right.
