OL has to pull together

On the safety, we could say that Julius blew it, but Arrington was there before Julius could step up to block. Arrington was there before Bledsoe was even out of his 3 step drop.

What befuddles me is how every other team knows our snap counts better than our own linemen.
He timed it well and we're slow to recognize or recognize at all. Youth'll do that to you.

I said earlier that the offense will be dumbed down with Romo in there, and I think that could be a good thing for our OL. Its one thing if they're just getting physically beaten like they were last year, but this year seems to have an inordinate amount of mental lapses and guys going unblocked. I think the system is too complicated, or they're trying to retain and prepare for too many blitz packages during the week to prepare for what teams were going to throw at Bledsoe. Aside from Romo's escapability, I think getting back to basics might be just what the Dr. ordered for the OL.

I think you hit the nail on the head with that post.

We were man-handled. Do you not think they'll throw the same thing at Romo? I do, and they'll not have to work so hard disguising it. Romo fell down on his own a couple of times tonight. That's on record for all to see. Worse case of Plummeritis I've witnessed, only difference is, Romo will throw it. That's a two-fer. Get him flustered and it's a sack or an INT.

I think its his first game jitters and trying to do to much being captain comeback. Give him a couple games and I think he will become much more poised and play well

How can you say Romo fell down on his own? He was hit or grabbed each time as he was trying to step out of the way of the rush. You try getting hit by a 280lb lineman and run away...

OL looked STUPID!

Columbo let MICHAEL STRAHAND come in unblocked.

Rivera let Arrington do the same on the 1inch line.

I think the OL coach ( mr. running game coordinator) needs a talking too cause this unit is way too predictable in its blocking schemes and really are the only thing holding this team back from a strong season.
I agree with alot of what you said.I personally think that part of the problem is talent, and the other part is either stupidity,or bad coaching

Well Future, I think you give this kid a couple more games and I think he's going to figure out how difficult it really is. He's been exposed and they'll be coming. And hell will be coming with them. JMO I see no hope here. We need a QB.

Julius Jones may as well of not been in there for protection. He whiffed it big tonight. When he did figure out who his assignment was, he just got in the way. I wouldn't call it blocking.

If the offense called for a 200lb HB to block an all-pro 280lb HOF bound DE then they are stupidly silly. If that was the call then the Coaching staff needs a vacation.

Same with the safety, why would the blocking scheme call for the RDT to be doubled when you have blitzer lined up over you ? One the 1" line no less.

I hope we pick us some promising young talent in this draft. I think we could use a guy like Justin Blalock from TX. He is big, strong, nasty. He can play tackle or Guard. I think that would be a good starting point. I wouldn't mind taking a look at the Left Tackle from Wisconsin.

The OL will pull together in the 08 Apr draft and 08 free agency signing period--I am afraid to say :bang2:
