LT Peters
LG Smith
C McGovern
RG Collins
RT Ball

Of course, we ran it center-left behind Peters and Smith, but McGovern looked all right in there at center as well. Good to get those young guys a few snaps.

This team's o-line and edge depth is the envy of the league. Still: Knock on wood we stay healthy.

True. I wouldn't want Ball at right tackle yet. Images of the preseason flash back and give me nightmares. But he's a young player who missed his rookie season with injury, so he might get to where he's good enough.

I still believe there's a chance that Waletzko ends up being the eventual replacement for Tyron and most of Tyler's pro career is spent at guard. But I'm probably pipe-dreaming. I just thought Waletzko showed a little something in his limited preseason play despite fighting through injury.

Yup, Waletzko looked like he belonged when I saw him. This offseason should help him with strength and technique as he’s a bit raw.

Davis has a nice burst he is like a combo of Zeke and Pollard

He's a poor man's version of either: Not enough speed and juice to be Pollard, not enough power to be Elliott. I'm intrigued by him, but I'd hate to let either go at the moment with him being the possible replacement. Just a bit too risky to me.

Offensive line will not be the reason the Cowboys crumble in the playoffs. They have depth at every position along the line. I think Tyron is the key to a Super Bowl run.

So, what is your feeling on the value of RB's? Just curious how you value the position.
I see no reason why Davis couldn't be an example of putting a good (not elite) runner behind a good blocking line and seeing a lot of production.
I think he & another back could be prime examples of invest in the trenches & draft RB's later. (I'm ignoring Pollard & Elliott just to make the discussion easier.)

I think Tyler ends up like Larry Allen. He plays whereever they need him. Great draft pick which I initially didn’t like.
Will McClay just has the best eye for talent in the league, I think. I trust the man 1000%. Where would we be without him? Cellar dwellers? I say yeah.
