Not Dak, not Micah, not CD, not Zeke, not Pollard, not Kellen, not Quinn, but the OL & the extension of it the TE group will decide how far this team goes. This is in the DNA of the Cowboys championship teams.

McCarthy needs to carry a deep OL depth with Peters and a deep DL depth going into 2023. The 2 TE set should be base offensive personnel with Peters utilized in short yardage and goal line packages.

Your point is that the Cowboys should continue what they're already doing...?

For 2023 it will be either Tyron or McGovern on the team but not both. If Tyron stays that means Tyler at LG. They will not give McGovern a Connor Williams type contract to be a backup.

I thought Farniok was ok considering he had not played much prior to starting games this season, but they'll need other other options.

I'm skeptical that they retain Tyron for 2023. The probability of injury vs his 13.6M salary.

Just say the OL is playing great. The tackles are dominating the run game and playing solid in pass pro. McGovern and Biadaz have been better then advertised as well. Zack is the Goat.

We all know who the mvp of this team is. Micah changed the whole culture and attitude of the organization. We were historically bad defence not very long ago.

The o-line was a one of the biggest question marks going into the season. They have without a doubt answered those questions in a big way and are a very significant factor in the success of the offense.

Whether or not they are the unequivocal MVP's may be debatable but they don't seem to be getting the credit they deserve.

Micah didn’t change the culture Dak did back in 2016 with no losing seasons. The defense is not elite without the run game controlling TOP and playing with a lead. 5 SBs says OL is the MVP.

If Tyron remains healthy throughout the post-season then I would restructure and spread the 13.6M over 2 years. I like Farniok’s versatility and his ability to play stout I would let him take McGovern’s spot if he leaves.

BTW the post is more about post-season in 2023 and having depth in the playoffs. Tyron & Peters can be the Cowboys Trent William putting fear in opposing DL!

First thread you have EVER made that actually made any kind of football sense.:clap::clap: 100% agree.

I have said since the beginning that the Oline will be the key to this season.

If Tyron is healthy, I just look at it as another position group with enough depth that they can still win. A lot of players have stepped up when called on this year. Another reason why we’re back-to-back 10+ wins. How many times in the past did a key injury derail the season? Too many.

A lot of our past playoff failures had games where the o-line didn't hold up and lost the line of scrimmage. It's tough to win with that going on. This o-line seems different. Let's hope they show it when it counts.

That’s fair but we didn’t become a team ppl feared until we got Micah. The old cowboys teams were so stacked it’s different now IMO.

As long as they show up in the playoffs.

Last year against SF was one of the worst OL performances I can remember from this team. Hope they haven’t forgotten that game come playoff time.

No D is dominant when it's on the field too much. Even the best will wear out eventually. Our offense is best when we stay with the run game.

If you ask me, Cooper Rush is the MVP of this team. If he doesn't hold down the fort, none of this is possible.

The defense has been the MVP. We’ve won a number of games this season including four wins with a backup QB because of our defense. Not trying to take anything away from our OL it’s been very good, but our defense has been one of the best in the league this season and our pass rush has been second to none.
