OL Will Rackley works out for NFL scouts, coaches at Lehigh Pro Day

Lehigh University senior offensive lineman Will Rackley and other area college football players worked out for NFL scouts and coaches at the Lehigh Pro Day this afternoon.

Rackley, a Top 5 interior lineman in this year's draft, participated in every drill at the Cundey Varsity House and Ulrich Sports Complex except the bench press.

The 6-foot-3, 309-pound All-American said he was trying to improve his results from the NFL Combine. He did every event except the 40-yard dash in Indianapolis at the end of February.

:laugh2: My german shepherd (little wolf in him takes care of that ) Blackie has killed 14 cats, 4 racoons, 3 possums, some kind of mink animal and a snake 3 foot long. They come in to get his dog food, and they dont make it back across the fence. Yep, I have more pet cats this year than ever, 28 in fact. Mostly small colleges. :starspin

Rackley is a good player, I would like to have him in the 3rd if we have an extra 3rd, develop him this year and he can start next year at LG.

He is an interesting prospect, but if he can't challenge for a starting position this year or start at some point this year, I don't want him. Dallas needs interior help now, and the time for holding hands has passed. The project way has failed, and Dallas really isn't in a position to grant a red-shirt to an interior player. Dallas doesn't need Robert Brewster again in round 3. I'm not saying this guy is Brewster, but Dallas needs a plug and play guard.

I don't think Dallas attempts to start two rookies on the OL this year. So if they go OT in round 1, then they probably will be looking at an OG in the range of rounds 3-5 that would not be ready to start for 1-2 years. In that case, we probably start Davis and Kosier again this year.
