Altho im not much into hiphop or rap at all now, i did enjoy it during its inception. Here's my addition:

RIP Shock G.

PS: the current production trend of auto-tune would have ABSOLUTELY RUINED this tune. Just my 2 cents.

It is, technically, with a few tweaks here and there. It was a homage to them from Eminem.

Back to the subject, I grew up during the 90s in the golden age of hip-hop, so, I would consider myself mostly an old school guy. It has been interesting to watch it evolve over the last few decades, and mostly for the worse IMO, but there are some new artists I do like. With that said, I still find myself mostly listening to 90s/2000s era hip-hop.

I'll leave it at that. I could spend countless hours posting YouTube links to some great, classic tracks. :laugh:
