I miss the old Texas Stadium. It seemed that place was always loud. I remember watching the 95 NFC championship game on TV and it was awesome. I wish the new stadium was loud just like Lambeau.

how can they do that?.....lol......sounds like something the refs would try and pull at a Cowboys home game......

Unfortunately, I dont think we will ever have that problem

You were recently telling me in another thread how you were at the Rams v Cowboys game at Cowboys Stadium, sitting in the Club Section seating, and about how gawd awful QUIET it was ... DeMarco Murray running for a Cowboys team record 253 yards and all that game. I can understand and "feel" your frustration.

Will the Dallas home crowd, as a whole, never get it? Be the 12th Man. Do it for your Home Team, will ya? Thanks to all who DO cheer loudly.

It's a shame we can't figure out a sound system for all the Cowboys fans cheering from home in front of their T.V.

I went to a game to watch da 'boys in Philly and came home with a sore throat. (watch it witty, be nice)

Of course I'll be nice. This is a public forum, and I'm a gentleman ... in public ;). LOL! Thanks for your heartfelt cheering for the Cowboys, daboyz. There is absolutely NO DOUBT you can always be counted on for that.

The "Home Crowd" needs to ALL follow your lead. Again, thanks to all who do shout and holler for the 'Boys in Cowboys Stadium.

Very doubtful. I was at the last home game in 2010 against the Commanders. There were three guys behind me sitting their texting the ENTIRE game. They were not watching the game at all. I even heard "I went to fashion week in New York last week. It was fabulous." :bang2:

MONDAY NIGHT against the Giants, the game where Romo went down. My buddy and I were literally the only ones in our ENTIRE section standing up and yelling while we were on defense. This has actually happened to me several times.

Thanksgiving 2011 vs. Dolphins. I was told to sit down. NOT by the people behind me, but some other folks a few seats to our left. I just laughed and said "it's a football game!" and continued to stand and cheer. Sorry, I paid money just like everyone else, therefore I can ****ing stand if I want.

This is all 100% true and it was the same way at Texas stadium too. It's little to do with the stadiums and a lot more to do with the actual fans. The Cowboys have a TON of fair weather fans. It's heartbreaking!! When I go to the games I get my whole section into it weather they like it or not. Eventually everyone gets into it and is screaming etc.

Maybe Mara will have a new rule implemented on this for all giants road games:D

The Silverdome was loud as hell. I was there for the regular season and playoff game against the Lions in 1990. It was awful. Say what you want about the Lions, but that place was always loud.

This actually occurred a lot more than you think early on in the dome stadiums and at the time the concept of a silent count didn't exist. Now with the silent count concept that basically every team prepares for this doesn't exist. But in the 80s and early 90s this occurred a lot more than you would think.

Oof. I wish you'd leave the colors, Italics, and bold out. Hard to read.

I was at the 1993 and 1995 NFC Champ games. 95 was much louder, and my ears were ringing for at least 2 days after the game. I was on the Packers sideline and got to watch Reggie White take out his anger on a poor cameraman towards the end of the game.

Great guy Reggie White was, but not one of his signature high character moments.
