I enjoyed the part when Landry discussed the media criticism. Funny to think back and realize we had no Internet, no NFL Network, No 3 different networks carrying games, no ESPN....lol

Yea, back then it was local tv and the newspaper, that was it. If Landry and Lombardi were coaching today, there heads would spin. With cell phones, internet, satellite, FIOS and cable tv, they would have trouble controlling what goes out to the media. It is a different world we live in.

I dont know how many of ya'll remember that, but when the Cardinals beaat them on Monday Night Football everyone thought the Season ended. Then they went on to play Baltimore in the SB(and were robbed BTW). So nothing in life and football changes lol.

For those who wondered, here is your proof. Dick Stockton has always sucked. Even 40 years ago.

that was so cool. Tom Landry one of a kind. Too bad we didnt freeze him like Ted Williams. We sure could use his leadership coaching abilities etc right now.

Landry was the man. Awesome. Thanks for finding that.

Been a while since I heard a sack called a "trap". I remember Tom always called it that on his coaching show even when most people had moved on to "sack".

I remember that, was awesome the way we came back from that devastating defeat.

Back then we had a team of leaders and players that had enough of some players not giving their all. The players had grew to love Tom Landry after he cried in front of the team in 1965, which when one person opens up to fellow human beings, generally good comes out. That is something that Wade should do, but he is too proud or stubborn. I dont know which.

that was nothing about that score too.
In 1970 we held teams out of the endzone, in the latter part of the year;
16-3 vs green bay, 34-0 vs washington, 6-2 vs cleveland, 52-10 vs houston, divisional playoffs 5-0 vs detroit
