Charean Williams' draft notes: T.C.U. running back Aaron Brown hopes "shock" people at Pro Day; Ole Miss. wide receiver Mike Wallace hopes to run a sub 4.2 at the Combine.

DD.comment's: Texas Christian's Aaron Brown came into the season ranked as a draftable prospect - he cracked the top 180 of both major N.F.L. scouting services and was listed running a 4.50 flat at a bit over 6' and 190 pounds, with a 6th round projection. So we are mildly surprised he did not receive a Combine invite. We think scouts may've tagged him as mostly a special teams player, so that hurt him a bit. But he's a good player, who should have a chance to stick in the N.F.L., even if he doesn't get drafted...Also, our man, Matt B., has been in Mobile for the Senior Bowl every year, since 2006. He was very impressed with Mike Wallace's speed and skills as a receiver. Matt said Wallace's play in Mobile reminded him very much of current Denver Broncos' star Eddie Royal. Hence we moved Wallace up significantly in our rankings after the Senior Bowl. Actually, we may not have him ranked high enough right now, because there is so much hype regarding the juniors?
