Can we win a Super Bowl with Dak ? YES !!!!!! the only caveat is that we must get a coach, that wants to dominate through the running game and also a power RB combo ( think Eddie George & Derrick Henry), with a 3rd down Pollard type of back. Now with this combo at RB and online dominance it limits Dak to 22-25 pass attempts per game, but I believe we get big play action pass plays out of those attempts. Now who has Will McClay's number to pass him this info, so he can tell Jerry ?

I wish we did more under center and play action off it. Also more pre snap motion.

It was supposed to be the plan this year, they scraped it and put it all on Dak's shoulders.

Then we sit here and wonder why we can't throw it 60 times in the playoffs and win.

If you look at the OL realistically Tyler Smith about the only starter who’s career is trending up . Big reason the run game was flat .

Better invest in the OL with more than the mid to late rounders of the world McClay has been collecting ( Ball Waletzco etc )

Bingo! That’s part of it. When under center, the RB is moving at “hut” and the handoff is near the line with a head of steam.
When in shotgun, “hut” starts the snap that goes back to the QB with the RB beside him, so now the handoff is always 4-5 yards behind the line to a RB who’s basically standing still. Perfect for the draw or the toss or a counter play with studder steps and the RB looking for room. There should be a balance. Get under center with an occasional FB for the power game and the play action. I’d love to get the big RB from Wisconsin….6’2”, 245 power back with a 4.4 forty. When he gets to combine, probably slower. Nowadays it seems easier to find the change of pace backs than the power bell cows.
