If there's an elite OT available in next year's draft, i would take them in a heartbeat and move Tyron back to the right side where he played very well.

It's one practice bro. Don't worry about Smith. He's going to be fine.

There have reports all camp about Smith struggling against Ware and even Wilbur at times.

But i did say, let's see how he does this year.

As far as the OL as a whole, i agree too many overreactions based on this one day of struggling.

"You play like you practice"

Our o-line has been horrible for awhile now, so why should we expect anything different? Especially after a practice where they gave up 6 sacks! Game day on Sunday, need to get the act together ASAP! Game day will show quite a bit.

This is one of those threads that's gonna be fun to bookmark and come back to laugh at during the season.

Wait, we're supposed to be worried about Cameron Wake now? It's not like Smith or Free have ever faced him before right? LOL

"The offensive line is fine, nothing to worry about."

"It's just one practice in training camp. the sky isn't falling guys"

"We are just fine on the OL, just need to get some guys healthy"

I not worried about practice I'm worried seeing peppers and JPP throw smith around like a rag doll (again ) does smith lift weighs ? Looks small on upper body . For a top 10 1st round pick guy hasnt lived up to the hype . A top 10 pick should have immediate impact . He is okay but similar production could be had in mid round players .

Yeah, you did. I agree with that. See how he does in year 2 of his move to LT. He is what, 22 or 23 now? Also seeing what another year of physical and mental maturity will do for him is important.

He did ok last year, even with the move and the scheme change, so I'm expecting him to play pretty well this season.

Kiffin and Marinelli's scheme will put some pressure on the OL, so it isn't too surprising to see a bad day from that group.

I hope so, because they've been practicing pretty well. Particularly Smith.

Thanks for making me feel better!

This is far from the truth . Relying on tweets ? Most of the oline looks bad , slow unmotivated , limping around . Best two OL so far in camp Frederick and costa by far . Wilbur and ware have been owning smith . (they finally had to bench smith )

Those are gone within the first ten picks of the draft....

Almost all the picks came against Orton. If we lose Romo, we aren't winning anything anyway. Might as well just go with Tanney as #2.

Despite the sacks, the offense did move the ball in 1's v 1's and scored several TD's, so while the sacks are frustrating, the potential of this offense is being seen.

You might feel better, but Romo sure as heck won't, especially getting sacked 6 times in one game. No one is over reacting, you're acting like our line has been one of our strengths and just had a bad practice. Man is that far from the truth, now if we were talking about the WR group having a bad day then I'd agree with you on over reacting, but no our line has been horrible.

So tomorrow if they give up no sacks we can talk about how washed up Ware, Ratliff and Spencer are and how we should have drafted Floyd. How washed up Kippen and Marinelli are.... I know it probably won't happen but at least we have something to complain about today. We can find something else tomorrow I'm sure . It;s PRACTICE

You do realize he really didn't get sacked...he just got touched. He didn't take any punishment.
