Oline or Pass rush which unit is better in 25

I think Beebe Smith and Booker are strong at their positions as any in the league , if the tackles can be fixed by these coaches this could work.Maybe Guyton gets the right coaching or has to be moved to the right side and one of the young guys steps up , but the interior of this Oline is ready for war.

Which still leaves you with 2 questions aka how good will a rookie be and will the C take the step forward to be top 10 at his position. When 2/3 positions have questions that need positive answers that makes it a bold claim to even put the words dominant around them.

You cannot really say Booker is as he has yet to take a single snap of NFL football. Maybe he is a league average starter year 1, maybe he is Guyton and is a weak link on the line. There is no real way to know because he has yet to take a single snap or even have a single pro practice rep.

Guyton played as should have been expected considering the switch from college RT to NFL LT.
- Zack Martin once said switching sides is harder than swithed between OT and OG.
- Even Tyron Smith played RT as a rookie after being a college RT.
 
O line will be top 10 maybe top 5. Dont see the dline being that good compared. But it should be ok. Dt is obviously a worry

I agree with you but Booker passes the eye test on film dont he.
 
I'm afraid that will be up to the injury bug.

Our dream scenarios rarely take injuries into consideration but it is a real part of a Dallas Cowboys season.

I will say that I see much better depth for both lines than I have seen in a while.

Assuming injury free starters and rotation personnel, the D-line will have three 2nd round draft picks over the past four years at EDGE with a more experienced Mazi, Osa, and some pretty big guys backing them up with our draft picks along with Solomon Thomas at DT.

The offensive line has great potential in the future but will have another rookie starter with two 2nd year players. I feel they are still a season away from really becoming a force.

I believe it will be the defense line
The reason is I believe we still have questions at both tackle positions ( if they keep Tyler Smith at Guard )
 
At this moment I'm going to say the pass rush only because we have proven pass rushers on the team.
To me the offensive line is still a question mark until it proves itself otherwise.
The potential is there but we need to see it come to fruition

So the assumption is that everyone gets better just because of another year of experience and new, untested coaches? Interesting.....

Steele looks like done and Gyuton is a bust so far and he has shown nothing that gives hope he will improve. He showed the same weaknessess as in college and couldnt change that during the whole season.

It doesnt take much to improve the tackle position from these two but to expect it to be a force i for sure have my doubts

our center will be better if booker will be the player he is advertised. Our running game thru the middle will be improved. Pass protection must be seen. Might be better.

Tackles are still a big question mark, pass rush doesn’t have the same concerns
 
They’re similar. The interior OL has a lot of potential but really only has one proven star in Tyler Smith. The exterior DL has a lot of potential but really only has one proven star in Micah Parsons.

So we're back to the unquestioned optimism again? I thought we were past that but apparently we're back for more.

This is kind of how I see it. OL has potential but tackles need to bring it. DL has potential but we gotta stop the run.
