Oline will be the difference vs Philly

After next week we'll both have 10 games under our belt. My hunch is they lose in GB.

Despite their win tonight I am very confident we can beat them when we lock up on Thanksgiving.

Where we thrive is where their downfall will be. We are a well balanced machine that they haven't seen yet. I mean "yet" as in what they were accustomed to seeing in seasons past where we were predictable as a pass happy offense. Our offensive line when intact has dominated real good front sevens and have taken the will out of defenses almost all season long. When I look back I see how our line did vs teams like STL, HOU, SF and SEA in isolated matchups. This area will be key when we face Philly's front seven.

I know they're other factors involved when we play a game, but I can feel confident knowing this unit can handle the best at the snap of the ball. Smith will own Cole and Cox will be a challenge Frederick will take head on with success.

On defense we're improved from last year with new faces in action with T. Crawford, Melton, Hitchens, McClain and I want to add another season of exp in Wilcox into the equation. Once they can get into game shape Lawrence and Brent can contribute as well in this scheme.

I'm not overlooking NY, my intent was to keep everyone's confidence where it should be against these guys. We all know it'll be a dog fight between the two teams and we have some serious pups ready to scrap it out!!

Lets take care of NY and then watch our Boys eat some Eagles while we're eating our turkey!!!

Good post.

I think it will be one of those physical games where we wear them down in the 4th.

As for Nyg they can't stop our running game IMO. Or our passing game if the last matchup was any indication.

Their passing game is pretty good so hopefully we get more pressure this time around.

I don't want to see the soft zone stuff and only rush four. It'll be an interesting match up for sure.

Actually, I think the big difference is going to be discipline in the rushing lanes. Sanchez slides in the pocket well and is actually pretty good when he rolls outside the tackle box. The game plan needs to be similar to the Seahawks game as far as keeping Sanchez in the pocket and forcing him to make plays from there with pressure in his face.

I'm pretty sure they're aware of Dallas' O - line and the commitment to the run game (sarcasm). I agree on your points and don't think they can stop it.

I'm hoping for a gameplan similar to that. It gives the rushers extra time to pressure the QB. I don't mind being beat when we play our corners to their strengths vs a soft zone and rush 4 game plan that leaves those intermediate routes open all day.

I personally think the ST is going to make a big difference. Our ST has been up and down all year and that's been their strength. We can't have a blocked kick/punt return or a big returns by Sproles.

I can't believe whoever made the schedule thought it would be a good idea to have Dallas play a freaking late game on Sunday and turn around and play on Thursday as well. I mean they won't even get back to Dallas until Early Tuesday Morning.

I hate that both teams have to play each other with so much on the line on a short week.

That is absurd! They need to move us and flex Philly @ GB since both teams have winning record. The fans deserve two winning teams from the NFC lol.

I can see where we are doing our film sessions looking at both teams.

Run vs Philly in the inside and hit those seam routes to Witten and call me crazy but I think Escobar shoul be used on those routes on play action.

Our o-line is our most obvious strength against Philly. We need to play a complete game and at least be even in turnovers, but this will be a battle of imposing styles.

If Murray gets 28+ carries and 150+ yards and we have the ball 35 min, we would be in a perfect position to win. If we let their offense get on a role, then their defense and special teams feed off of that. Our defense is good enough to hold its own against Philly. No one is lighting our defense up for 30 points and Philly won't either UNLESS we fail to control the ball, make special teams mistakes or turn it over.

If we split with Philly, I think the division is ours. Not counting our games together, they have one tough game left(@GB) and we really don't. CHI should be a win, they are in turmoil and I think we can beat Indy at home(toughest left minus PHI). They will beat Seattle at their place and NY/Wash will have given up by the time they play them at the end of the season.

If we end up with the same records(and split), then not sure what it will come down to. But....... we have to win one against them, if we get swept, then it is adios amigos for a division title :(

Hopefully, this is like 2009 and I am worrying for nothing except getting spanked in the divisional round!

on top of a shorter week, we play back to back division games for the second time.

We should double Beckham and take our chances with Randle

I think the Iggles will follow the Skins' game plan and throw 8 blitzers at Tony Romo.

Kelly will feast on our soft zone IMO. He won't make the same mistakes he made the last two games from last year.

The Saints had that issue too so they don't really seem to give much consideration to the teams when they make out the schedule.

We will control the LOS, run the ball down their throats, control the clock, and hit them with timely big plays with Dez and TWill. Sanchez is awful and will be their downfall.
