Oline

Myself, I don't think they have a choice. This offensive line needs to be made strong and with no hiccups left with the drinks.

The team, can't get a top running back until it does. That leaves about 3 years of heavy pounding on a star running back and leave a hampered and injury type years to do it all.

If this is not seen by Dallas, then the super star brought in won't be there his last 5 years when it all comes due.

Straight up, I'm for Banks and would trade up just ahead of Chicago.
They could draft an olineman at 12. Several good ones will be available. Banks could be available. Booker and Grey Zabel and Donovan Jackson would be available if Banks is gone.

prioritize your needs

D line is the biggest priority; followed by RB and LB. with Overshown probably not playing until mid year and uncertain if he can come all the way back, Our LB corps is the second weakest on the team after DL. Just nudging out rb for the simple reason we got one that is ok and you really only need two

There is a league wide shortage at oline. All 32 teams need oline.
some need it more than others. We need to give our young players a year with the New O line coach before we invest serious draft capital

I see Will Campbell as a guard, and a lot of people will see Kelvin Banks as a guard, so this is a loaded guard class and a awful tackle class. IMO, Banks and Membou are the only two viable tackle prospects.

Simmons from Ohio State is the best in the class and a sure fire pro bowler as long as the injury is good; which from all the reports at combine he is going to good to go.

And if it's not, he's probably not an NFL starter. Simmons has game, but I hate taking that kind of zero-floor gamble in the top 15.

Then why can they not run the ball or protect the QB.....
Did you not watch the 2nd half of last season when changes were made on the Oline? Did Rico Dowdle not rush for over 1k yards and average 4.6 yds/carry? Even Cooper Rush looked decent for 6 out of the last 9 games he started after Dak's season ending injury. That was with the revamped Oline, only 1 legit threat at WR, and only Rico Dowdle at RB. Oline is not in need this coming draft. RB, WR2, Dline, MLB, CB and a few others are more important, especially with very limited draft picks.

Exactly, but some people are stuck on Oline only in the 1st round.

Please draft the o-lineman that will keep the QB from freezing up for the first half of a playoff game.

Because if ya don't ........ its not gonna matter anyway.

Hope that guy exists.

Go get the tackle they want and don't lose out as in the past.

Simmons is the best tackle.

Simmons is the best tackle.

Simmons looked like the best tackle for five weeks, before he suffered a major injury that football players rarely come all the way back from.

If September 2024 Josh Simmons was on the draft board, I'd pick him top ten. But there's a risk here that we draft 2014 Dez, if you will, and get 2016 Dez.
