Oline

Simmons looked like the best tackle for five weeks, before he suffered a major injury that football players rarely come all the way back from.

If September 2024 Josh Simmons was on the draft board, I'd pick him top ten. But there's a risk here that we draft 2014 Dez, if you will, and get 2016 Dez.
It was reported at the combine that the league is positive on his recovery and he should be ready for training camp.

Did you not watch the 2nd half of last season when changes were made on the Oline? Did Rico Dowdle not rush for over 1k yards and average 4.6 yds/carry? Even Cooper Rush looked decent for 6 out of the last 9 games he started after Dak's season ending injury. That was with the revamped Oline, only 1 legit threat at WR, and only Rico Dowdle at RB. Oline is not in need this coming draft. RB, WR2, Dline, MLB, CB and a few others are more important, especially with very limited draft picks.
You are wrong and don’t know what you are talking about

As for the OT Josh Simmons injury (torn patellar tendon of the knee):

Yes, it's possible for football players to reinjure their patellar tendon after a tear, with re-rupture rates ranging from 2% to 50%.
Explanation
A torn patellar tendon can occur when the quadriceps contract forcefully against a bent knee.
A complete tear separates the tendon from the kneecap, making it impossible to straighten the knee.
Surgical treatments include debridement, debridement with anchors, and other techniques.
After surgery, patients typically need 6 to 12 months to return to sports, but it's rare to return to pre-injury levels.
Athletes who have had patellar tendon tears have reported re-ruptures.

Huge risk. Hard Pass.

11:45 a.m. - On three separate occasions in a 20-minute interview, head coach Brian Schottenheimer made sure to reference Tyler Guyton.

And all of the occasions had a positive tone, suggesting the 2024 first-round pick is making the necessary strides to improve this offseason.

When asked about the development of the O-line, Schottenheimer voluntarily brought up Guyton and Cooper Beebe as they enter Year 2 of their respective careers.

"The thing that I'm interested in watching is the development of a couple of the second-year players. You watch Cooper Beebe, Tyler Guyton and those guys," Schottenheimer said. "Tyler Guyton has been in the weight room every day. He's working his *** off. To me, that's really exciting. I think the influence of Klayton (Adams), the influence of Connor RIley, I think that package was so important for us, and I think we hit a home run."

Boom!

This pretty much destroys the notion of drafting an Olineman in this year's draft, especially in the 1st round.
