Now you are a mind reader as wellBoom!
This pretty much destroys the notion of drafting an Olineman in this year's draft, especially in the 1st round.

We made one the highest paid player in football, so noCowboys definitely should not look into drafting any player with a serious leg injury. Have we not learned our lessons by now?
Quite a few have commented...with your fly bye.Now you are a doctor lol
Talk football, Son.Now you are a mind reader as well
Wait time is six minutes...announce moving on, over radio.Ex-paramedic.
Much more knowledgeable than you Madden boy.
Campbel and Banks are guys Id give real consideration for at 12There are 32 teams and a league wide shortage of olinemen. There are only about 7 olinemen that are worthy a 1st round pick and after that it is slim pickings. The Cowboys are in the 12 spot and are in a good position to get 1 of them.
These are the guys that I have on my list.
Will Campbell LSU
Josh Simmons Ohio State
Kelvin Banks Texas
Armaad Membou Missouri
Tyler Booker Alabama
Grey Zabel North Dakota State
Donovan Jackson Ohio State
There is not much left after that. There are a bunch of different players at different positions that they could take at 12 or in a trade back, but it might be a good decision to take a quality olineman while you have a chance.
I have Josh Simmons as the best otackle and the league is liking the medical news that they got at the combine. The position flex of Grey Zabel could be a good fit for the Cowboys. I also like all of the other guys on the list.
I understand that they are in a good spot to get one of them, but it's a question of allocating resources. If you spend the first on another OL, then obviously you miss out on players at the top at other positions. Maybe DT is deeper, but the players available there in the second and third rounds are still lower-quality than those available when we pick in the first. Zabel would be a blinking light starting at the top of the 2nd round.Campbel and Banks are guys Id give real consideration for at 12
If Zabel is there at 44, Im pulling the trigger
It would lock a top olineman on the team for years at a position that has a shortage. The Cowboys rarely draft this high which will prevent them from getting an olineman in the future.I understand that they are in a good spot to get one of them, but it's a question of allocating resources. I'm not going to be upset if another OL is taken, giving us three first-rounders on the offensive line, but depending on who else is available, there are several other positions I'd prioritize over OL.
Exactly! perfectly statedIt would lock a top olineman on the team for years at a position that has a shortage. The Cowboys rarely draft this high which will prevent them from getting an olineman in the future.
I would guess he goes late 1st, but interior OL can get passed over due to position valueZabel would be a blinking light starting at the top of the 2nd round.
The deal is he can play all 5 positions. A good fit for the Cowboys. For example he could play center and Beebe can play right guard. Or Grey Zabel can play guard or tackle.I would guess he goes late 1st, but interior OL can get passed over due to position value
Dont know how good of an NFL OT he would be. Has short arms, and not as skilled as guys like Slater and Sewell who have been able to compensate. I think teams are going to be looking at him on the interiorThe deal is he can play all 5 positions. A good fit for the Cowboys. For example he could play center and Beebe can play right guard. He could be a great fit at center.Dont know how good of an NFL OT he would be. Has short arms, and not as skilled as guys like Slater and Sewell who have been able to compensate. I think teams are going to be looking at him on the interior
Could be, but they seem intent in keeping Beebe thereHe could be a great fit at center.
Then you can say that Zabel is a good fit at right guard.Could be, but they seem intent in keeping Beebe there
