Oline

It doesn't matter. An oline pick this year at pick 12 is for the next 10 years.
Maybe. Injuries happen. Players don't work out like you think they will. Etc.

An OL improves our line some. We've got solid options across the board with Guyton, Smith, Beebe, Richards, Hoffman, Bass and Steele. That's seven players who have shown they can possibly be starters.

A first-round DL possibly improves our line dramatically. All we have is Mazi (with the jury still out), possibly Odighizuwa (a solid but not spectacular starter) and late-rounders/UDFAs.

You only have so many resources, so you have to use them wisely. So much, though, will depend on what we do in free agency.

really unless the top OT falls into our slot then give the O line a miss this year and see how our young guys develop under a new OL coach.

We need REAL QUALITY on the DL. AND THIS IS THE DRAFT TO GET THEM.

The only problem is where we are drafting, there might not be any DTs worth taking. Graham clearly is worth the pick, but is Nolen or Harmon or Grant? I don't know.

Just clicked on a top prospects list and see Nolen at No. 8, but isn't there some concerns about him that have emerged or is that smoke?

They can draft a good dtackle at 44 or 76. They can draft a very good olineman at 12 not at 44.

Because coaching and play calling still matter.
They still need to have true strengths to work from. The offensive line can't be a blown away in high winds and make it deep in a playoff. No sorta's to that element. Take a high lineman and at the very least stay in the game.

Honestly if Graham is not there at 12 and one of the top three or so have not fallen then its time to trade down IF possible. If not, then take the best DT on the team board. Or LB or RB.
do not get fixated on value. GET the best player left at a position that is really hurting.
