Olineman 3 of last 4 years

Big philosophical change for the Cowboys. From never picking Olineman in the first round to investing in it 3 of last 4 years. I like it.

Once Donald was gone, Martin was best available. I like lineman with 1st pick. Safety would be nice, but trenches first!

We do like getting the best player at a position in the draft when possible, it seems.

Because of the injuries. Two of the four starters on the defensive line missed essentially the entire season. Dallas used 16 different starting line ups on the defensive side of the ball due to injury. That is difficult for most teams to overcome.
