and what we get 27 yards

like the first pass he caught in the second half.

Slant to Roy needs to be thrown at least 2-3 times a game. And if the other team cant stop it just keep going to it

I think he is really being under used

it was a 30...er 15 yard slant

I don't know why Garrett doesn't have the WRs run any skinny posts

Michael Irvin used to kill during those plays

and Garrett was there on the sidelines to witness them

I totally agree w/ this. They should have done that w/ TO last year too. I don't understand why it isn't a part of our offense more.

For a guy that takes as much flack as Roy Williams, he's a darn good player.

Undoubtedly the most underrated $45 million receiver in the league LOL. But in all seriousness, his line graph is moving from overrated (the amount we traded for him) to underrated (the complete lack of appreciation he's given now).

We definately need more crossing routes in the offense. Give the WRs a chance to get some YAC.

Roy is a good fit for this team. He is blocking like a mad man and doing the little things to make this team successful. Im glad we got him.

I know :bang2:

He's an awesome guy on Slants and skinny posts. I don't know why we don't give him more looks on those plays but as long as we're running the ball as well as we are I'd prefer we're using that to it's fullest.

Wow.... Roy Williams and the slant go hand and hand! Why can't Garrett get that through his thick head???????

:bang2:

He was too busy drawing up fantasy fade patterns on his clipboard to see what was going on in the game.

Roy made a living on slants, deep in/out plays in Motown. We need to figure this out.

:laugh2:

I just don't know with this guy

Roy is a guy who builds up to top speed, slants and such help him get to top speed quickly

hell, Austin would kill on them

Crayton on small slants would kill

Roy looked really fast on that slant. That's the perfect play for him.

I agree. It looked like he showed an extra gear there.

Romo isn't that great on slants, IMO. He throws behind the receiver on a fair percentage of them.

Well obviously he needs to work on those throws since Roy excels at those passes....

well then start getting Romo's butt in gear

because that was Roys deal in Detriot

move the chains on the slant

It looked much more like a square in than a slant. He basically ran straight up, turned the corner and ran horizontal. If he had ran a 20 yard "slant" or post, he would have been right up into the safety's zone. And he exploded once he made his cut.

Digs, look like slants, when you cant sell the "up" part... 30 yard slants r cool too
