Omg!!!! I Finally Saw Youtube Footage Of Patrick Peterson!!!!

OMG!!! I really haven't seen this dude yet until today. He reminds me of Dez Bryant (in that he returns punts for TDs with ease and is an amazing athletic freak on the field) except that he plays CB. Now, I see WHY so many zoners want Jerrah to move up to grab this guy if he drops somewhere to picks 6-8.

This guy will be an All-Pro CB like Charles Woodson for 15yrs and would transform our secondary OVERNIGHT!!! Wow, if we could sign Mankins (OG) , find a mammoth NT (Draft or Free Agency) and good-sized NFL Free Safety (Free Agency) and draft Patrick Peterson at CB......we'd have had a super successful OFFSEASON!!!!

Patrick Peterson's Youtube videos are notorious for showing his pick against alabama multiple times from multiple angles, then showing his return against UNC for the next half of the video. Video is about 4-5 minutes long. Dallas better not trade up and get PP.

Yeah, that is a pretty crappy "highlight" video.

Show one play over and over as if it was the greatest play ever (and it was not). Then show the one punt return.

Also showed him posing for 1 minutes of the 4 minutes. I hate "look at me" types.

Not impressed.

Of course, that says nothing about whether I would draft the guy. Just critiquing the video, not the player.

I think he may be there at 9 right now.

But I think after the Combine, it's game over for us getting him... assuming he performs and does not sit it out.

I expect PP to dominate the combine, and lock-up a top 5 pick.

Our only chance at him is for him to skip the combine and have a couple of other people blowup the combine and get pick early.

Patrick Peterson may not be the best technique wise, but let Rob Ryan coach him up and watch him bloom. Nnamdi was very similiar in that he had to learn the technique of playing CB in the NFL. And Rob Ryan coached him up.

We all know how that worked out...

Get out. Jimmy Smith will be a better corner and he could be had at 41.

Petersons as overrated as they come, BTW.

and LOL at saying Peterson potentially becoming ASO. If anything, Smith has that ability. Peterson will never be a shutdown corner, playmaker, perhaps. Not shutdown.

PP easily grades out the highest at CB. He is a playmaker with prototypical size. He is also the draft's best returner but only a dolt would have him return kicks regularly and risk injury.

He will go very high and Dallas will not be trading up for him. In fact that silly rumor should die a quick and full death. I am fairly certain Dallas has NEVER traded up inside the top 10 under Jerry Jones and never will. Further Stephen Jones has stated a number of times he doesn't like locking up rookies to huge salaries thus prefers to be outside the top 10.

I agree we wont be trading up this yr, but in 1991 we did trade up to the #1 spot and took Russell Maryland.
