Seriously?

If you have a chance to go #1, take it.

Chance? It would be guaranteed.

This sounds really asanine but Luck is stupid for going back to school for another year.

Big mistake. There could be a rookie salary cap when he enters the draft next year.

Not to mention if you have the chance for the get-rich-before-you-play signing bonus teams are currently ponying up, you have to take it before they clean that mess up and you're looking at a slotted system.

Probably the right decision considering there might not be any NFL games next season.

If there is no football next year and they do a random shuffle he could end up going to a good team in 2012.

We're not getting Peterson at 9 anyway. I don't know why everyone is waiting with baited breath to try and predict where everyone ahead of us might pick.

I can't imagine why he'd stay WITHOUT Harbaugh?

Good for him.

There is a statistic out there that shows that QBs who don't get X amount of starts before they enter the draft are almost always busts. There are auxillary reasons for that, I believe - chief among them would be that the only QBs who don't get that many starts are highly touted prospects, and therefore they are drafted early and started immediately - so not only did they not get enough starts in college, they aren't getting a chance to learn in the NFL on the bench....

Of course he could also just wind up being Brady Quinn.
