Stanford has announce that QB Andrew Luck will stay in school and return for the 2011 season. Luck was expected to be the first overall pick in April's NFL Draft.

There is a statistic out there that shows that QBs who don't get X amount of starts before they enter the draft are almost always busts. There are auxillary reasons for that, I believe - chief among them would be that the only QBs who don't get that many starts are highly touted prospects, and therefore they are drafted early and started immediately - so not only did they not get enough starts in college, they aren't getting a chance to learn in the NFL on the bench....

Of course he could also just wind up being Brady Quinn.
