I used to be a 5. This season has made me an 8.

I can't blame the entire organization. The Cowboys have some good people in some areas.

However, it really doesn't matter when the owner stubbornly refuses to accept the fact that he is an awful GM.

A carpenter can have the best quality wood money can buy but it won't change the fact that he is a terrible carpenter if his structure collapses.

I give the organization a 5 due to the handicap it must burden.

The other day my cat got into the toilet paper and destroyed it and made a mess. 2 weeks ago my dog knocked something over when he got excited to go for a walk.

I was disappointed in neither of them because that is what animals do. Similarly, we know, after the past 30 years, making awful decisions is what the front office does. If you are still disappointed in them, then you aren’t paying attention.

Based on this season so far, a 7 for me team.
Based on the offseason, lack of cap vision and myopia on personnel, the Dallas FO gets an 8.5.

I honestly don't care about anything else. As far as I'm concerned they can continue to be the clown show of the league, overpay their mediocre stars and whatnot... as long as they bring us some play off success I wouldn't mind. Heck the 95 Cowboys kinda were a clown show yet they won the SB.

And this goes the other way round too of course. As long as all they can muster are regular season wins over bottom feeders Dak and all the others simply suck. Aubrey excluded.
