At least if he did this in March and signed a few players that would've made sense, but instead they did the dumbest thing absolutely possible and people still think this is headed in a good direction? lol That direction was 3 12-5 seasons and the owner squandered the opportunity yet again. It doesn't magically get better from here.

I am not disappointed at all in the performance this season; I think a lot of us fans saw this coming during the offseason:
- poor depth along DL, OL, LB, WR and RB positions;
- no featured RB and Jerry signs Zeke with Henry available;
- no complementary WR opposite CD;
- no improvements to run defense
- Jerry’s outdated belief that his team his talented enough to win the Super Bowl “as is”
- signing Dak Prescott to an extension that prevents Dallas from bringing in talent
The lack of attention to these known issues in addition to the signing of a system QB for franchise dollars, have in the aggregate, set this season as well as future ones up for failure.

Total panic move. He was listening to TV talking heads (and probably internal Dak-stans) about how bad things would be if they didn't sign Dak. Derp. It's bad either way except we have the top paid player in the league that doesn't really cover any deficiencies.

Horrible. At least if they waited and saved money it might be a different story, but they waited and still overpaid and got nothing done in the offseason. This front office is stupid. Some fans seem to think there is a "great reset" happening and it's some type of premeditated brilliance. Nah, the verdict is in, they're just morons!

What is the time frame for this disappointment? Are we speaking only of this season? Or the last 30 years? Last season was the biggest disappointment for me after that GB playoff loss (a 10 on that scale). This season I'm less emotionally involved, almost apathetic considering that nothing got done in the offseason to help improve this team. I pretty much knew this was not going to be the same 12-5 team. This season, about a 4 or 5.

I love this franchise. But since the horrific playoff L to GB in Jan— I have watched this FO, coaching staff, and roster flounder and slide further and further into apathy and complacency.

I could not disagree with Jerry more on many, many decisions.

I don't understand how anyone can be shocked or surprised with how this season is playing out. Dallas didn't make any off season moves to made this team better from a year ago. Many expect this team to hover around .500 with potentially being a top 5 draft pick recipient..

Disappointment? 9 I really hoped that the OL would come together better/faster
Expectation? 5 We did absolutely nothing this off season except lose players. We didn't even TRY to get stronger as a team.

I honestly don't care about anything else. As far as I'm concerned they can continue to be the clown show of the league, overpay their mediocre stars and whatnot... as long as they bring us some play off success I wouldn't mind. Heck the 95 Cowboys kinda were a clown show yet they won the SB.

And this goes the other way round too of course. As long as all they can muster are regular season wins over bottom feeders Dak and all the others simply suck. Aubrey excluded.

No one is shocked how the season is playing out, it's exactly what most said it would be. But what they did (or rather didn't do) in the offseason is truly the worst of it. That was the nail in the coffin for me that the front office doesn't even care enough to make improvements to get over that hump after 3 12-5s. The window was open and they slammed it shut themselves.

They never even bother with free agency! So now a reset and hope for the best? That's funny! They hung the whole team out to dry this year and then overpaid the QB on opening day! What a huge slap in the face. But they'll blame the coach and start the same routine all over again. Jerry and his kid are complete crap and that's really no surprise!
