On a scale of 1 to 10, how confident would you be with Bland as the 2 CB in 2023

I think they see him more of a slot guy than an outside CB. He played outside yesterday but Lewis will likely be the 2 if not brown. Brown would probably have been gone for big money but coming off a serious injury I suspect he comes back on a one year deal

Why would you want Brown over Bland? Bland has made more plays in 9-10 games than Brown has made in the last 5 years.

Kid has had a solid rookie campaign but hasn’t he played mostly slot? Will. red to dig in a bit more but regardless CB remains a big need as you need at least 3 good ones.

I think AB and Jlews contracts are up?

Bland has been good in the slot. Yes, he’s given up some passes but every corner does. He should continue to get better with more reps/experience.

J. Lewis can walk. Never been much of a fan of his. I still think we should look at a starting caliber corner to pair with Diggs either in the draft or FA.

I like him as the nickel next season. Not sure if he is a reliable two yet. I give him a 5.
You give him a 5 out of 10? Wow, tough grader.

He did give up an easy TD playing off coverage vs Philly, but all in all, over the last 7-8 games he has played outstanding!

I give him a 9!

I gave him a 5 because I don’t like him as the number 2 cornerback but right now he is our second best corner.

From what you have seen of him this year, what is your comfort level with him as the #2 CB next year
I like what I’m seeing so far and I understand he will make mistakes but he is instinctive and has a nose for the ball. He could’ve had multiple int’s yesterday. He may be the find to replace Brown as a starter next year. Bonus!
