Your Dallas Cowboys aren't playing.

Week 5, and we've only seen the Cowboys on Sunday twice now. It's throwing me off stride.

I was thinking about this the other day...

I think all the Thursday games and whatnot are throwing this team, and others, out of wack. It's hard to get in a rhythm when you're playing at a different time, on a different day, every week.

It's just another move by Gooddell and co. that has a negative impact on the product of football as a whole.

I hate the whole early bye week thing.

as a fan, i like the early bye week because once you get past it, you've got 12 straight weeks of cowboys football till the end of the season, minimum. and for the cowboys, it seemed to come at good time this year as far as injuries go.

well, early on it looked like all 3 of our divisional rivals would win and it didn't turn out that way. i feel pretty good about that, although the Giants look like they are ready for the playoffs right now...

The bye week couldn't come at a better time because our play was inconsistent but man in the 5th week? And the Steelers actually had theirs in the 4th week. That's far too early and its a disadvantage to those teams who have them so early while some teams have their's in the 9th or 10th week.

I understand why it's good for the Cowboys to play all these primetime games, but speaking strictly as a selfish fan I hate my NFL Sundays without a Cowboys game.

When the schedule comes out every year the first thing I do is count the non Sunday afternoon games. Hoping there will be as few as possible.

Who did they just beat?

ask me again after we play the browns, or after we bounce back from a 14-0 deficit. the giants have a very strong offense, like we used to have...

I don't like the Cowboys playing in primetime. I'm normally asleep by 8pm.

So, I prefer a 1pm or 4 pm game. If they lose, I wasted the entire day.

I'm probably be in the minority, but I really like late night games. I hate having to wake up early on a Sunday.

If we fell behind, even if came back, would be lucky, a crappy team who beat nobody etc
