A little off topic. I was at Champs Sports bar yesterday at 1:00pm for a late lunch with a few guys from the office and a wholesaler.

They have like 20 plus tvs, use to go on sundays before I got the nfl ticket.

Just as I was seated the NFL network had Dal/Det replay starting and right next to that, ESPN had the Dal/SF 1992 Championship Game. I mean these tvs were practically touching each other. I could watch both games without moving my eyes.
I caught a good 40 minutes of the games, before I had to leave. All the while pretending to be listening to the wholesaler.

Viewing those two games form those different eras was very very interesting.
First thing I noticed was that the players of today are a good bit larger and faster. The field seemed more crowded.
Velocity and zip on the passes. Romo's seemed to have the most, Aikman and Kitna about the same and Young the weakest by far.

Boy could we use Emmitt circa 1992 right now. He was a beast!

Romo's mobilty resembled Young, both under a good bit of heat.
Or at least it seemed that way compared to Aikman. I couldn't believe all the time he was getting. UFBelievable. One play he had 5 full seconds, throws it to Novacek in tight coverage for a completion 6 yards down field.
No one was even close to him, probaly could have sat back there another 3-4 secs and found someone down field.
There were some pass plays where Aikman had more time than any two Romo pass plays combined.
