On Romo's first int

To the ones basically blaming Owens for the INT, would you be saying the same had it been Bledsoe that threw the ball five yards inside? :)

Ice you know I have no blinders for Romo. I have said I will wait until next season as proof. owens made no attempt, none. Ran straight after seeing the ball. I have watched it ten times. He was pulling his poor me act. We are lucky he even bothered to touch Dawkins. I'm not saying he could have done any thing. It's an effort thing.

You've watched it ten times? You have some bad eyes, buddy.

TO looked up, and about a millisecond later the ball was INTed. Do you guys think he's stretch armstrong or something? God Almighty..

How hard is it to understand he ran to his spot and the ball was 5+ yards off where it was supposed to be?

i saw him look up while the ball was in the air, that was the first time, the second time is what your talking about

if you've watched it a few times, i'll back down some. i recorded it but don't think i can bring myself to watch it. but while i can agree he could have adjusted, that simply implies "bad pass".

It wasn't a timing pattern, so why is anybody talking about "running to a spot?" Romo's first career completion was a worse throw than that one, but Hurd caught it because he was looking up for it.

The pass was lousy. My problem is owens looked right as the ball was let go and turned it on as though it was going to the right spot. For all we know he didn't run the correct route. Now wouldn't that be a surprise?:)

Thats correct. He took two looks.

I guess if TO sees its a poorly thrown ball, he has no obligation to try to prevent and interception. He could have at least done that.

wow - some people are just hellbent on their own points.

if there's blame on a bad play they share it - period.

Please, the ball was thrown 4 yards to the inside, it was a terrible throw. Owens couldn't have done a thing to prevent the INT.

Romo made some horrible throws tonight, he's got to be more consistant. Teams found out how to get him out of his comfort zone, he doesn't throw nearly as good when standing in the pocket.....

yeah because Marco Rivera sucks, and lets his man have a free shot on Romo numerous times.

Brady would suck in the pocket with our oline

ugh im sick of everything being TO's fault. Was it his fault that we gave up 426 yards of total offense? I guess so.

Well I've been said that Rivera was a free agent bust, that's old news but that deep ball to T.O. was a terrible read, Terry Glenn was wide open but he chose the wrong guy anyway....

No way should TO have not attempted to knock that ball down, or go up for that catch. That ball was within 3 yards of TO, Dawkins was looking to make the catch, TO could've played DB on that interception pass. It was a bad throw, but that's what Receivers want. The want an opportunity to make a play even if they have a couple of guys on them, believe me.
