On that missed 4th down conversion

Like they say, hindsight is 20/20. Of course it will be second guessed since they failed but they have converted on the same play several times this season. I don't know if any team had all 11 players that close to the LOS though.

It should have been a QB keeper. Weeden is a big boy. Immediately when we saw we were short on 3rd down we should have lined up and went on a quick count. I loved the decision but hated the play call. That was so weak it was embarrassing.

I wonder why we never sneak it on a play like that. Tap the leg and dive and you probably get it.

But the truth of any thing is a good play call is the one that works. That's the way most people look at it.

Should've let Bailey do his thing since the o-line was being beaten more than usual but hindsight is 20/20.

A qb sneak wouldnt have worked with that lack of push.

Maybe my imagination, but weeden doesnt sound very loud. Bet a hard count couldve drawn them. They jumped his cadence

It's one of the plays that has been in Garrett's offense no matter who is calling the plays that I have always hated. When we need 1-2 yards, we need to keep our normal formation with 2 wide rather than a "bunched" formation. Instead, we cram everyone together and the odds for success drop considerably. I'm actually more stunned when it works than surprised when it doesn't.

You can't convert 100% of the time. Arizona just played it well.

The formation was terrible, you can't allow 11 men to stack the box and think that you're going to win that battle, I don't care who you have on the offensive line.

With the way the Cards had all but shut down the run why not spread and slant to Dez? Oh never mind......Weeden was playing QB.

I loved the call, I wanted to see how our offensive line would match up in a power situation. I wanted to pound it through the defense. It turned out, that the Cardinals defensive line is very tough to move. As was the case all night, the nose tackle would not be moved. This playcall was for fans who say we should run it in short yardage situations, (I'm one of them) I hope that the failure on this play does not set the precedent for future games, Dallas needs to defeat the defense mentally with tough physical running.

as soon as they they lined up ..i told my son ...they won't make this..

whoever called that play is a total moron

Same here. Just before the snap I told my son they will get stuffed. Stupid stupid call.

Is the QB keeper even in our play book?

Especially if your back is that far behind the line of scrimmage with an FB in front of him. Just asking for all the lanes to be filled in by the time he reaches the line.
