Jerry at this point might be so old, wealthy, and prideful that he will tell himself that he can keep Garrett for a few more seasons. I won't be one bit surprised if Garrett is extended/resigned as the HC.

If anyone is thinking that Garrett will be fired 100%, you should leave some wiggle room because there's a chance that won't happen.

Even without a playoff appearence Jerry might bring Garrett back.

I really get the feeling/wishful thinking the next HC is Belichick or Payton. I think Jerry has had a back channel deal in place for a long time.

If that is the case Dallas may not fire Garrett right away, they would mumble through talk about evaluations until the playoffs were over and the guy they want is actually available.

This Forum will completely melt down and be even more unreadable.

If the HC pick is Meyer or Riley, Garrett will be fired next Monday and it will be the "tell" that the new guy is a college coach.

JGs exit will not change this culture.
JG will be the scapegoat sure, but this franchise as much more issues that are much more deep seeded than JG ever had the ability to even influence.
