Just maybe the rest of the team is tired of hearing that their success depends totally on Zeke and they'll play the next few weeks like they have something to prove.

At least that's what I'm hoping for with them going 5-1

it's time for the media, haters, and casual fans to pick a narrative and stick with it, either:

a.) Zeke is good and the main reason for Cowboys offensive success

or

b.) Zeke is only good because of the o-line and "anybody" could have success running behind it

The next six weeks should write that narrative all by itself

it should, but I guarantee you when Zeke comes back and starts tearing the league up again we'll hear the same old tired crap about how he's only good because of the o-line

C. Both Zeke and the OL is great and prop each other up, and given their offensive scheme, combine to be the predominant reason for the Cowboys success to date, but not necessarily the only way they can have success in the future, all things considered.

It will help if the defense plays more like it did at Washington, and less like it did vs Green Bay.
