Q. I attended the Cowboys vs. Seattle game and had a great time. I had a question and was wondering who to ask when it dawned on me that you are great at finding answers to anything Cowboys related. Before the game they played a video that I enjoyed immensely. The video included Cowboys players, cheerleaders and stadium staff singing along to this song. It was well done and the people in the video seemed to really enjoy doing it. I know fans in the stadium were really into it and some were also singing along. My question is: what was the name of the song and who sings it? Also, can that video be found online? Thanks so much. GO COWBOYS!

A. The song is "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas. The Cowboys broadcasting department, specifically producer Roxanne Medina, put together the video. It's not available on-line or through the team. It was just a fun pregame piece for the digital board.
The idea was hatched from a YouTube video by a university in Canada in which students lip-sync to the song. Roxanne's video, which has played a couple of times this season during pregame warm-ups, features Cowboys players, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, team staff members, broadcasters, stadium staff, security and concession workers.
When Roxanne taped our segments, she would bring a boom-box stereo and play the song, then we would start lip-syncing. When she taped Brad Sham, Babe Laufenberg and me in our Cowboys Radio studio, it was the first time Babe had ever heard the song. So if we seemed a little offbeat in the video, we can blame Babe. But don't tell him I said that. Luckily, our lyrics were pretty simple: "Let's Do It, Let's Do It, and Do It, Do It, Do It." Hey, we never claimed it was Shakespeare!
Q. First, I hope you had a very happy Thanksgiving. Second, have our 'Boys ever played their following game after Thanksgiving against either the Lions or the team that played the Lions on Thanksgiving? Thank you.

A. Great question and it took a little while to cross-reference the Thanksgiving games back to 1966, but I found one near the very, very end.
The only time a team has played the Lions on Thanksgiving Day, then turned around and played the Cowboys the following week was two years ago. In 2007, Green Bay played at Detroit on Thursday, Nov. 22, then played at Texas Stadium the following Thursday on Nov. 29 (a scheduling quirk due to the NFL Network's Thursday games in the latter portion of the season).
And, no, Dallas and Detroit have never played each other following their respective Thanksgiving Day home games, but they did face each other the Sunday before Thanksgiving in 2005 at Texas Stadium.
Coincidentally, the Cowboys' next opponent after Thanksgiving this year will be the Giants, who are also playing Thanksgiving night at Denver. Meaning both teams will have a full 10 days' rest before facing each other.
