What's everybody's gut feeling about this game? Arizona is one of those teams that doesn't match their record, IMO. They are a good team, but I don't look at them as a legit contender. On paper, their defense looks good, but are they really that good? They do have a ton of injuries on the defensive side of the ball. Peterson is no longer being neglected by quarterbacks, they throw at him, and they're beating him. Not an easy match up for Dez, but one that I think he will win by a pretty good margin. People have been dying to place Palmer in the elite category just because of where he came from and where he was drafted, but he has an average QB!

If Romo is the Romo that he has been this year, I'm confident in us getting a W. We are usually not the team that lays two eggs in a row! Without him I think the game is a little bit closer and would probably give the edge to Arizona! Wouldn't be shocked if Weeden got the nod and beat them.

W Romo:
Dal: 34
Ari: 21

W/O:
Dal: 17
Ari: 27

I see a close game. Arizona has some weapons.

Sounds like you think they're overrated because you underrate Palmer. He's better than an average QB and they have lots of weapons on offense.

If the game is over by 4 est or maybe a little sooner then I like Dallas' chances. If it ends around 4:20 I don't feel so good about it.

I see what you're saying and I'm not trying to say he's a bad quarterback, but you really don't see elite quarterback switching teams as often as he does! And I think we have a better arsenal of weapons than they do. I think a lot of the credit has to go to their head coach who is very underrated, in my opinion! Hell of a coach!

All depends if our coaching staff can remember and figure out how to beat a blitzing Defense...

cardinals are going to bring the heat and if our guys dont figure it out its gonna get ugly quick cause the Cards are a far away better team then the skins

He was elite before that bad knee injury he suffered in his 3rd or 4th year. Looked every bit the player he was hyped to be coming out of USC. That point there was Manning, Brady and Palmer as the cream of the crop at QB, but that part of his career is often forgotten. I dont wanna make this a Carson Palmer thread, but he's had a pretty good career and gets a bad rap IMO. He's finally got a good offense around him and it's no surprise to me they look to be legit contenders.

Hopefully DLaw can play. We are going need a pass rush moving forward. Especially against a team with above average passing game.

Cowboys can definitely win this one, but it's going to take a Seattle, NO performance. So far, they've been up for the big games. They've played each of those very physically coming off subpar showings. Now they have to do it again.

Dallas couldn't handle the blitz from Washington and Arizona blitzes more than any team in the league and their defense is better. The Cowboys have a propensity to make mediocre QB's look like All Pros, so I expect Carson Palmer to put up some numbers. This is going to be a tough game, a winnable game, but very tough. They had better figure out a way to stop them from blitzing.

Agree that Dallas better forget what happened Monday and get focused for Arizona cuz they will do what worked on the Cowboys O, blitz, blitz and more blitz. Need to get back on the winning track this week and beat Jax in London next week-----8-2 at bye is not bad. And the tackling better not be piss poor again or the D will not be able to get off the field like this past week.

Carson has been fantastic when he's played. He's getting better and better with his synergy with the wideouts who have had to adjust to him, Drew Stanton and for a small stretch Logan Thomas. The D truly played a bend but don't break game on Sunday. We stopped the run, but Foles threw all over the damn place. You guys have a great RB in Murray and a beast in Dez, so that's gotta be a focus of the D this week. If we can be better at finishing drives we'll be a lot better off.

All depends on if we can handle the blitz or not. If the Cowboys team that played Monday night that acted like they have never seen a blitz before shows up against Arizona, it is going to get real ugly real fast.

I've been watching the Cowboys for far too long to think we can go into any game we should win and come out with a W. If the Cards dial up the pressure and we go into full meltdown again, it may get ugly.

This week will show whether or not Romo and the coaching staff are capable of learning from past mistakes.

Cards are no joke. This will be a tough game and a great challenge.

I think Palmer is a pretty good QB, but no way he has ever been a top 3 QB in the NFL.
