QB looks toast
david johnson is out, so chris johnson is the lead guy

but unfortunately, another top 3 DB will be on dez this week. so if he mentally loses it again then it could be rough for dak.

Can we just move on a call that a mulligan?!

How do we stack up with Arizona?

Stay away from Patrick Peterson. If I see those ******** fades again I'm going to lose it. This team acts like Dez is Julio jones or something. He's barely better than Twill. Defensively we can get pressure. Cardinals OL is older and palmer cannot move very well. Must tackle well and make Arizona convert 3rd and longs. Offensively if we don't turn it over we will win.

Palmer is the definition of a statue, if we can't pressure him we probably can't pressure anyone, except for Elie.

Peterson is going to be on Dez all game so expect a lot of trash talking after jump ball after jump ball after jump ball (only route Dez can run nowadays)

Their RB is a broke down CJ2K......if he is gutting us, we done.

Bottom line is we should win this game if we are a playoff team. If we lose it probably means we just suck and might as well tank at that point

If their front 7 is not on the same level as NYG or DEN, then I think this is a crazy revenge game situation for Dallas' run game. This might look like last season's game against the Bengals.

Unfortunately, the DB situation is in shambles. We might get Scandrick back, but Chido and Carroll will more than likely be out. I wouldn't be surprised if we called up a guy like Seamster or McFadden to fill in as depth. Bennwikerie (sp?) seems like more of an oversized slot corner than an outside cover guy, so I don't know if he'll actually be counted in any game-plan (even if he's on the 46). The chemistry in the defensive back-end is an underrated value for a defense and right now we're lacking that.

I really should tool up north and catch that game,,,I've pulled a blue million mobile home floors past that stadium enougho_O

We're gonna lose, as the infectious funk is gonna be in full on mode,,, then word from 'HIGH command' comes rolling down,,,and certain attention to details like coaching and in game adjustments WILL be apparent afterwardso_O

You very well could be right in us exacting a revenge style of ground attack program and hanging 30 points on the Cards,I caught a couple talking heads on sports radio today ripping the Cardinal franchises upper tier management in their lackluster draft, they were of speculation that the cards would end up with K.C.'s Q.B. Alex Smith next year,,, they weren't kind in their assessment of Arizona's play thus faro_O

Home opener for Arizona, contrary to what some people think Palmer is not toast (the Lions def is obviously better than what many predicted and last week he was throwing 60 yard bombs with pinpoint accuracy, they have no running game, stout defense, and Fitz. Cards are matched up nicely against the boys in this one. Honey Badger matches up well with Beaz, Branch matches up well with Witten, they have athletic linebackers similar to Denver in Jones/Reddik/Golden. So on past statistics alone they limit the teams #1, shut down TEs, and keep the running game in check. Sounds like a game for Williams, Butler, and Dak. Gonna be tough.

The new it thing must be bashing Dez.

The mans not perfect but it gets kind of tedious to read the same regurgitated comments in thread after thread.

Only 1 WR in the NFL has more targets than Dez this season
34, yes 34, WRs have more catches

Dez is great
He's just "misunderstood " and "misused"
Not his fault
Never
In this regard he is just like Garrett

There'll be no easy games for our Cowboys this season.

We'll either learn to show up ready or get ready to lose.

Palmer can get hot, then watch out if he has protection. The key here, as in Eli, get to him, and get him off his game. I don't think Palmer has quite as of a fast release as Eli, and not sure if the Arizona offense is that style to get the ball out quickly. Maybe someone else can answer that. But agree, he is not toast yet.

What may help is Johnson is out, but the way our D played against the run, Ellington can hurt us just as bad.
I am afraid Gitz will light up our secondary, especially if we are short handed again.

Marinelli needs to rebound with a great game plan, but the players need to execute it as well.

Agree if he gets hot and JJ Nelson is not contained by this secondary gonna be a long hard Monday night.

And most of his targets are low percentage plays.

Agree
Defense is about being in position and be willing to tackle
Our defense did neither in Denver
The coaches need to hammer these issues this week

Maybe sit Butler, start Noah Brown, in hopes of drawing some attention away from Dez. Heck, it can't hurt. No one fears Butler so it's stick a CB on him and forget it.
